I made this picture in Forge literally 11 years ago lol and it got almost 120k downloads on Halo 3's file share system. There were entire sub communities in Halo 3 for custom games, screenshotting, obstacle courses (Sarkathlon), machinima, and even jumping (look up LBYL 2 on YouTube) etc. It was legitimately ground breaking, at least for console players

You could share maps, screenshots, or clips on your profile with the file share system, so good content spread unbelievably fast. It was so fun man

my childhood..... i'm ecstatic, halo ce/h2/h3 some of the best games of all time imo.
thankfully 343/microsoft learned from the popularity of halo online. hopefully it's better than the initial mcc release.

I've been hearing from a lot of people that they're doing a much better job of actually listening to the community's feedback on this, and don't just want it to be a simple PC port. I hope they don't screw it up, halo is awesome
