Avengers Endgame

What I think people are overlooking when judging the film is that it's supposed to be a conclusion to the saga meaning that the plot was predictable unlike Infinity war where they could have gone any direction. Also Inifnity war was awesome cause it left you hungry to see endgame.

Endgame has no sequel as of right now hence that aspect is out of the equation.

btw Avenger's Assemble by cap was one of the best fan moments ever.
Opinions on falcon becoming the new captain america? Me personally doesn't really fit him.......bucky would have been a better cap imo

bucky usually is well received more than falcon as cap, idk i think it could have gone either way but it felt off the way they presented it in the movie lol

I think the goal here is to keep movies and comics as close as possible.

That means the white old Nick Fury is replaced by his black son Nick Fury Jr. who no one knew about until now.
And if the have to get a different Captain America because Chris Evans isn't going to play the role throughout the next decade they're not going to go with what happened in 2008-11 (I think), which is basically ancient history and definitely out of print, they'd rather go with the most recent which is 2015-17 Sam Wilson/Falcon Captain America.

Also anyone who knows both were an option will watch any semi-decent marvel movie anyway so why not go with the "diversity friendly" option that might also sell a few more comics?

I'm not well-versed into the comics but I do recall that the Captain America mantle was taken by Bucky and Falcon at some point, correct me if I'm wrong. But of course in different universes perhaps or something.

Personally, when I saw the Endgame ending and saw Falcon get it, I was disappointed at first it wasn't Bucky. But after thinking about it I would've been fine with either, I can understand why Steve chose Sam or not Bucky for a few reasons:

1. Bucky has already been through so much and also has had a dark red past, and perhaps after surviving/fighting throughout many of his years, he just wants to have some rest too, like how Steve finally got to "retire".
2. Bucky probably isn't interested.
3. Sam actually has a good friendly relationship with Steve, not saying Bucky doesn't as they have known each other the longest but Sam and Steve's journey together has always been quite good. In TWS, Sam was willing to help out even though he could die, lose everything, or etc., he voluntarily wanted to help find Bucky, also literally committed treason as he sided with Steve in Civil War and showed that sort of loyalty, and continued to help onward into Infinity War and Endgame despite the incredible enemy forces.

It seems like an odd choice to some or many but hopefully we can see it pan out well.

Sure but using the multiverse version of time travel is the best way to do it. They just explained it really poorly for some reason lol
