this seems to happen randomly, i can hear everything except voicelines from characters, announcer, no round end music, etc. i can still hear weapon noises
restarting game doesnt work, verifying cache doesn't work, messing with sound options doesnt work, only thing that seemed to work was reinstall esea? lol
i dont have anything weird in my autoexec except ragdoll commands
other things i've tried : switching language, removed custom folder
any help is appreciated

yo, I have this exact same problem. I verified integrity of game cache, it fixed it for a bit, but then the problem came back.

a teammate had the same issue and fixed it by changing to dx8
