I think vici are going to win, paparazzi has been the best position 1 this season and they've won 2 of the last 3 events

Vici are definitely the favourites based on recent event performance AND have the home team advantage, but with this being the largest esport prizepool ever being the favourite puts a big target on your back- teams will be working on "anti vici" strategies to bring to TI.
On balance I think Vici should win but one can't rule out Secret or Liquid.

As someone whos biggest interactions with dota have been the ti8 true sight and a few admiralbulldog highlights, is there somewhere where i can actually read up on the teams if i wanna get some context for this ti?

If anyone thought the Chinese fans were harsh on their teams when they don't happen to win in TI grands, imagine how bad its gonna be if that happens on home soil. Worse if they miss finals completely this year (decent chance VG or maybe LGD get there though).

Big day for EG today, hype match to start the night off with OG. I think RNG is pretty strong right now and VG is one of the favorites. If EG don't get a point out of the grudge match with OG, it could be a real rough day. They'll bounce back the neXt day against infamous, but if they don't get many points today their last day against NiP and VP could be tough.
