I assume he was an old tf2 player who was employed by twitch eventually like slindini
twitch admin, played TF2 for a long time
played on budsquad
I believe he also contributed to essentials.tf's monthly cups being on twitch front page
He changed his name to something like Synwyn (probably not exactly correct) and showed up in twitch chats every now and then
edit: apparently one of his past aliases was also Johnsfatcock

He used to do CoD videos under the name essinDEES iirc, great alias
John was an interesting character. He regularly ensured that Tf2 was on the front page of Twitch while working there and was pretty instrumental all around in helping some of the earliest tf2 twitch streamers get off of the ground and get everything set up. Unfortunately I haven't kept up with him these last several years. I'm not sure if he's still with twitch in some capacity.
I had a pretty good relationship with John as he had played originally on the SourceOP community servers as "tankman" and most of the people who came from SourceOP knew him in some capacity - as that was the era where talking in game chat and trying super hard to win in pubs was the norm on those servers lol.

John's the best. all around weird dude (in a good way) who's great fun to play with/talk to. he was also a fragger
as marxist said, he was a huge help for the first TF2 streamers and giving them the opportunity to succeed on the platform (when sub buttons were much more exclusive/etc). last I knew, he was up there in the ranks at twitch.
him, slin, and romscout have been the big players in helping TotH when it comes to our relationship with Twitch as well (front-paging, sponsorships, etc)

tf2 calls him Twitch John and twitch calls him TF2 John
John is the shit, got us all to a Brazilian steakhouse at ESEA-LAN and got us an insane tab at the hotel bar. MAN REALLY LOVED TF2.
He also posts 10/10 pics of his fishing trips so you should follow him -> https://twitter.com/johnmemes
