I just want to say that even though I didn't submit anything, you still stimulated me to start working on a hud. I'm pretty new to hud editing so most stuff takes a pretty long time for me to figure out. I'm not trying to say that there wasn't enough time or something, cause there was plenty of time if I actually knew what I was doing. Even if there aren't that many submissions after the deadline, I'm pretty sure you stimulated people to work on HUDs.
I mean come on I don't even wanna win like that it feels so cheap, how about you guys extend this for a bit like a month or so and try to get the contest a bit more reachable by eveyone? I think getting an announcement on huds.tf and maybe like reddit (loool) would have helped massively. I say that because during the time i was developing my hud i found my self speking with a lot of hud related people and not and whenever i told them it was for the hud contest they were all like "oh wow that sounds cool, i would have done something if i knew about it earlier, or the rules where less strict"
Sorry lads but I didn't have as much time as I expected originally with my hud, so I wasn't able to get a whole lot done with it. If the deadline is extended I would give another effort to finish, but I don't mean to pressure the decision since I will (hopefully) have more free time but can't make guarantees.
That said, one big thing that got added was transparent damage numbers, to read stacked damage numbers easier and not be painful bright yellow (it's subtle, but it's a lot better than opaque damage numbers):

Hey guys, I see that there are only 2 submissions. Here's my hud. I'm aiming for a 3rd place finish.
Ok so since the lack of HUDS im going to extend it to the 6th of October. Hopefully some people can make more maybe if we get 2-4 more id be happy since last time we got over 6. I just thought since we gave around the same time to finish more people would of completed. So ill add another month :>

i didnt really get around to doing much other than the mvm/halloween/arena parts unfortunately
it was just my own personal hud, but this post motivated me to actually make some progress on it, so i figured id release it because someone might want to use it, or gain some inspiration from it at the very least

For the people that tilt and want to change HUD every day, I made a HUD that has a bunch of different fonts in it so you can change fonts and get your fix of placebo.
The only real custom things are minmode 0 has 6v6 scoreboard, and minmode 1 is as many players as your screen will allow for. I also added in health bars in the comp spec HUD.
Currently I put in the fonts for:

1st place will go to: Sunset HUD by Hypnotize! I feel this hud brought a new look on the menus, making it look very warm and very well made :). Using this hud for the few days i tested it off stream it felt new and original. Also looks great while playing 6v6/9v9. Great work!
2nd place will go to: Kermit's Placebo hud. Felt nice and well made nothing to really complain about!
