i vote nacl because of how vague rgl is about many things and how difficult communication can be

Just a note, but currently many of the NACL people are involved with putting on the #btstf2 event. Because of this, and the lack of interest we had for the first season we have kinda put the project on the back burner until stuff is more sorted. If people are really interested in getting the league up and running I am sure we can make something work, but we need more than the 3 teams we got last time.
This isn't to say dont push for it, but I am just letting you know where stuff sits currently.

the main issue with rgl was the admin discretion when it came to punishments, and even that's seen improvements over the course of the season (imo). I have faith that it will continue to improve in this aspect as the league matures and the admin team gets more settled in.
Additionally, rgl also supporting other formats helps with the potential longevity of the league, even if 6s player numbers decline. nacl might not be able to continue running a league without a certain amount of players, but rgl is sustained enough by HL and 7s that it wouldnt matter. (For the record im talking about longevity in the same way b4nny is with turning tf2 into an esport or whatever, i just think rgl is less likely to go the same way as esea did in the near future.

im prepared for downfrags but regardless of my current affiliation with RGL, i think its good to have the entire competitive community centralized in one league, we finished this season of RGL with more teams than last season of ESEA started with. by no means do i think this'll make TF2 A HUGE ESPORT POGCHAMP GUYS THIS IS EPIC, in terms of keeping the game afloat it is great to see
i would be blind if i said a lot of rules and situations were not accounted for but that doesnt mean they cant be quick fixes before starting the next season of RGL (TAKE THE SURVEY AND FILL OUT THE LAST 2 RESPONSES IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY), and while im certainly not opposed to playing NACL or RGL (or even both), I do think that it is a very bold overreaction to immediately ditch RGL after the launch season because of some oversights. yeah its pretty stupid that a 15-1 team can be ranked higher than a 16-0 team, and our bans could be a lot more standardized between cases, but at the end of the day, the 6v6 TF2 i played this season in RGL was IDENTICAL to the 6v6 TF2 i played in my 9 seasons of ESEA - and if the "b4nny doesnt support iseries" thread is anything to go off of, the game playing the way we want it to should be the most important factor right? lets not forget about the fact that RGL has a sustainable prize pool plan and the possibility of hosting a lan for invite playoffs was an idea from the very beginning (see http://sixes.rgl.gg/Public/Articles/Default.aspx?a=1236)
TLDR; RGL 6s had a bit of a shaky launch, but it was just that, a launch, and mistakes can be corrected. i think it is too early to abandon RGL at this point, considering the current prizepool and possibility of LANs for playoffs (not saying that these things are impossible for NACL to achieve), but in the future if things fail to change i believe it is within our rights as a community to choose the direction we want to take the game.

Nacl crowd is a loud minority that likes to whine on tftv about unimportant shit, let's not actually pretend that leaving RGL is a good idea

s1 went pretty smoothly. I don't really see what would warrant a mass exodus to a different league when the current league has no glaring issues and is all things considered an improvement on esea
the only improvement nacl currently offers is a more 6s friendly head admin team(which is mildly a moot point because sigafoo hasn't done anything to hinder the 6s league), and a closer connection to the new (primary?) na lan. the move from esea to rgl went well for all the problems it could have caused and switching leagues every other season benefits no one.

afaik RGL is going to be looking into more admins during the offseason so this could be your chance to Make A Change™️

a full 2 month offseason for even the teams playing in grand finals of their division is too long imo

Just thought I would share regarding this, because I hear it being brought up fairly often-
ESEA ran a pretty consistent schedule, 8 week seasons, 4 week post seasons, and a break week between regular season and playoffs. However, ESEA Season 31 actually ended rather uniquely early compared to their normal schedule (almost a month so in fact). You can check it out in the spoiler tags using froyotech's match dates as a reference.

I don't really know what caused the ESEA seasons this year to start earlier than normal, but that is the main reason this offseason is going be awkwardly long. S31 ended July 23, so RGL S1 started a month later on August 22nd. Atm grand finals for RGL-Invite are going to be during the 2nd or 3rd week of November (sometime between the 11th and 22nd most likely). If I start the next season a month after, that happens to be right around the time that the holiday/Christmas season is starting (which I want to avoid).
The schedule that ESEA used from around S20 to S29 was-
Jan X - April X
May X - August X
September X - December X
where X is a day in the first or second week of the month.
