lagging + timing out

So, since last month or so I've been lagging and timing out almost every minute, both in TF2 and in Mumble. Example video here:

It's so annoying to play like this that I was thinking of just quitting the game altogether tbh. Is it something wrong on my end or should I blame my ISP for this?

You're still receiving game packets because you get voice lines and a damage marker.

Run a trace with WinMTR to the gameserver and mumble server until you hit a timeout. My guess is a firewall/DoS-filter in your router.

You're still receiving game packets because you get voice lines and a damage marker.

I feel like the problem lies most likely on my ISP. I contacted them but they said that, with the quarantine and all this shit it'll take some time for them to look into the problem and fix it.

Thanks for the suggestions tho! I'll test them out and see if they improve the lagging.

Timing out from the game followed by mumble definitely looks like an issue with your ISP or router rather than your computer. I'd be surprised if it was anything to do with your settings
