Wait I am not sure I understand. The gunboats change is confirmed according to the rgl website to not be included in season 3 but it is included here? Don't get me wrong I like the change but the line "These changes aim to keep the pugs in line with what user's may experience during league matches." doesn't seem accurate.

wolsneWe will wait for the official announcement regarding gunboat change, and if it isn't implemented, it just a simple server cvar to adjust back at this point. Given the announcement context it seemed to me like it would be added as a change but I suppose we need official confirmation.

RGL hasn't confirmed any plugins at this point until the conclusion of the plugin survey, they have ruled out attach speed.

rgl survey page 2For this Promod section, we do not plan to implement the Promod features right now or in the near future, and this explicitly is to gauge player interest.

This is from the second page of the promod plugin survey which includes attach speed, gunboats change, Halloween souls, and projectiles ignore teammates. I think I would call that an official statement that gunboat change and Halloween souls removal won't be in.

no its a bug fix so you receive less self splash damage when you shoot a rocket at a point blank enemy under certain circumstances

the command should be renamed so it doesnt look like what you are referring to

Last I checked there was no estimation but I could ask again and I'll update this post if I have more information.
If the itch to pug becomes uncontrollable we could borrow a mumble from a friend and use servemes but I for one am not willing to do that yet.

Yeah, since wolsne killed the old server that had all the mumble certificates on, I have to build new servers that work for 1, and also configure all the servers again. I wanted to do things a bit different, so I have some code to write hopefully tonight and tomorrow and have them online by monday night at the latest.

Edit: It wasn't killed just becuase, it was due to the fact that we thought we had a month to transfer everything over to one of my machines, however payment was due the third which resulted in losing a bit of progress on my end.

I'm still having trouble getting servers up as I am experimenting with having more than 5 servers from any location, and experimenting with a lot more than just that. I still have monday as a deadline to get something up, and if not I would need to done before the end of the week.

24's use of 'kill' was crude. Wolsne transferred ownership of nut city to 24 as he is going to focus on his studies. This happened at the same time that the VPS the old servers were on expired (end of payment term).
The downtime is simply a discrepancy between end of payment term for the old servers and 24's new servers being set up.

I have fixed all servers, they'll auto exec the rgl config and also correctly keep their hostnames and passwords between map changes. This should help with running pugs faster.

I have also expaneded the server pool to 3 regular servers and one junior server that can be used as another regular server if needed. Enjoy!
