Invite. Main. Intermediate. Open. Long ago, the four divisions lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when froyotech attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four playstyles could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my teammates and I discovered the new Avatar, a gamer named tambo. And although he could never tell when he was talking, I believe tambo can save Invite.
Veterans dingo and tambo comprise the Team Avatar Soldier duo, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. dingo has many an Invite season from ESEA, and made a quick appearance as a backup in RGL Season 1 with Dunk Masters. Like his Soldier partner, tambo is also back after a brief hiatus. last seen competing in playoffs with Glove World during that same season.
To aid them in their quest, Team Avatar has picked up a variety of Invite rookies and greenhorns. The Scout combo features caps and animus. Both players are coming off backup roles during the previous season: the former for Dunk Masters and the latter for Advanced champions SpireIQ Technologies. Medic hhhwrd was a starter on the aforementioned SpireIQ Technologies squad during RGL Season 2, and along with animus will be making their Invite debuts. Rouding out the roster is Demoman logan, who played with Strolling Astronomers in Invite last season.
tambo had this to say about his team:
This team is planning loooong term, I'm p sure we have scrims like next week already.
