Yes, and he was told through two different people to accept the request multiple times. I also asked b4nny on stream, again, multiple times. It wasn't like I just added him and waited lol
Add someone else. You're very free to add anyone from the team. The circle jerk surrounding this thread might make you content but I can assure you if I needed to get an interview from a team, I wouldn't add one person and sit like a hen on its egg for multiple weeks. You just have bad management skills.
b4nny was by far the best player to add from froyotech. he's well known and has been consistently the face of Froyotech as its leader. I chose to have Tery ask b4nny my questions (thanks homie), instead of gambling on another 4g player.
And you're calling my management skills poor right now? Really?! questionable

Lyreixhonestly it's very likely that there's a lot of things that no one outside of froyo knows about why they couldn't set up a mix team out of invite pug players at the last minute, so until there's no statement from anyone on the team just flat-out claming that they don't care is a huge stretch imo
I will say that I agree that letting people know at the last minute is pretty lame though
imo it's pretty clear from b4nny's tweet.
It was time to start the tournament, and everyone else on froyo was either offline or on snooze. including serv0 and lansky. you cant grab 5 mercs at noon for an all day tourney, and it wouldnt have been froyo at that point anyway
they flaked. end of story unless someone from froyo says otherwise. i would love to be wrong and it was all a misunderstanding. but it doesnt look that way to me. :/

ofc the truth is that when youve been the top team in NA and the world for a full year (largely without trying for the past 6 months), you stop caring. when you don't have to scrim more than match nights to win the past 2 esea seasons, you get complacent and playing becomes a chore. you miss a tournament here, a deadline here, it stops mattering
lan being gone is icing on the cake.
not an excuse, it was really shitty of froyo to act the way they did. but it is pretty clear why theyve become so goddamn flaky

Thing is, b4nny was awake and available to play even after streaming until 2am. I don't blame b4nny at all aside from not looking at a roster sooner.
Yeah, almost certainly wasn't b4nny's fault. He probably told his team, but then everyone just peaced or didn't show up. That's happened plenty of times before with Froyo (often screwing other gamers over in the process, like here), and it'll happen again. Pretty sad tbh
And don't even get me started about trying to talk to people on Froyo when writing articles. It took two months just for b4nny to accept my friend request on Steam, for gods sake.

GrooveVideo gaming has always been an activity that none of my family approves of so they'll find indirect ways to sabotage the experience. Their favorite tactic is to install a massive program that takes hours to complete so my ping skyrockets up to 400~500.
Ha! Try being allowed to play the game 10 hours during Christmas break, 30 hours over a 2-week period during summer break, and the game has to be uninstalled the rest of the year. God the memories. First few years of high school were not fun.
