If any teams that are down a player need a soldier or scout to finish out their season, hit me up.

bearodactylpretty sure it's the same thing as a ctap
in the comments someone asked if you should ctap for vert/horizontal pogos and he said both
Huh, TIL.
bearodactylAntimoonhttps://youtu.be/urD0WIzh9-Q?t=24 (ignore shitty music)bearodactylafaik ctapping can make you jump further for solly and demo (though I've only ever heard of jumpers doing it on demo)I think you have that a little backwards, ctapping is only really a benefit on soldier, since demo can get basically the maximum boost from a sticky without doing it.
pretty sure lambda knows what he's doing as he's one of if not the best demo trick jumpers in the world
I mean, what he does in the video is just a crouch jump, generally with a ctap you jump while coming up from the crouch, not while you're barely starting to go down. I mean, it's a moot point anyways, since there aren't really any situations in which a demo would need to ctap, so whatever.
h0b5t3rI used to play minecraft when I was a kid
A five month necro, for this.
On topic, some of my early favorites were The Neverhood and Myst, and I've been a pretentious, videogames-as-art type ever since. I still have the Neverhood soundtrack on my iPod.
Basically everything, but I'm pretty sure the burger I'm having for lunch is a decent decision.

Yeah, it was pretty fun, and I certainly didn't feel like there was any bm going on. Sorry we couldn't give you guys a better match. :C
It's been a frustrating season. After going through a bunch of roster changes earlier on, due to toxic players and people choosing to commit to other teams, we finally settled on a roster that seemed to have an ok rhythm. But, the team still failed to win a single round this season, due to a variety of factors that I won't get into, because I don't want to call anyone out publicly. At the end of the day, I did the best I could, and hopefully I can move on to a better team next season.
At any rate, it was nice to make some new friends, regardless of how well we did. I'm happy to say that I ended up liking the teammates that I rode out the season with, even though I got plenty frustrated with some of them. It's also been nice to have a reason to practice again, for a while prior to this season, I stopped focusing on improving and went back to pubbing, and I became a lot worse.
Um, pocket or scout LFT season 24?
The last time this topic came up, I got this on the version of this with sheep
Dating an Asian woman without her thinking I'm some kind of weeb would involve me getting rid of my SNSD posters and half the food in my pantry, and TBH I'm just not willing to go that far.
the301stspartanAntimoonOxenfree (Probably the best horror game I've ever played. As a big fan of storytelling in games, this really hit the spot for me. Truly an example of videogames as art.)
Wait wat this is supposed to be a horror game? I thought it was a cool adventure game with spooky elements but I never got the feel it was actually made to terrify you. It's more of that eery atmospheric feel similar to Kentucky Road Zero; if anyone knows that, if you liked Oxenfree as a horror game, you will probably like that one too.
I mean, it's not shit-your-pants scary, but the game does set up a general sense of unease and fear. The excellent writing really lets you get invested in the characters, and feel like a part of the story, so when things get strange you can really empathize with them.
TBH, I feel that games like Oxenfree maybe don't seem like horror games because they don't have the visceral impact of the jumpscare-heavy startle games like FNaF. I feel like a good horror game is all about atmosphere, and getting inside the player's head to let them scare themselves, something which a lot of the games mentioned in this thread don't do (irrespective of how good they are otherwise).
I'll definitely check out Kentucky Road Zero.
To keep on point with the thread, I'd also recommend Kona and 35mm.
Probably start grinding other team-based FPSes with competitive scenes.
SpaceGhostsCoffeeI used to play a good amount, still do. Mainly D&D 3.5 with a bit of Cthulu and others thrown in. I still play it online with some irl friends way back from high school, good times.
If there were a demand for it, someone who's not lazy like me could make a tf.tv tabletop group, playing them online honestly isn't that bad imo
An online playgroup would be alright, but I'd feel like an idiot wearing all my LARP gear at my desk.
eeeDead Space is fun but not super scary (3 is co-op)
Cry of Fear is free and has a co-op section
Dear Esther is free I think and kind of shitty but alright atmosphere to have in the background
Moirai is free and kinda creepy as a one off
also repping FEAR as one of the best early 2000s FPSs. Its a good game on top of being scary
How are you going to call Dear Esther kind of shitty after listing Cry of Fear? The original Dear Esther mod was mediocre, but the remake is really well done (though not free). Cry of Fear, while an admirable effort, ends up paying like a slightly spookier Resident Evil with significantly worse puzzles. Also, the experience in Cry of Fear varies greatly depending on which of the many campaign things you play.
Neverending Nightmares
Layers of Fear (I can't say enough good stuff about this game, it's very well crafted and tells a good story)
Near Death (An excellent one because it's not about monsters, gore, and jumpscares)
Oxenfree (Probably the best horror game I've ever played. As a big fan of storytelling in games, this really hit the spot for me. Truly an example of videogames as art.)
Among the Sleep
Dear Esther (Existential horror is a kind of horror.)
