Hey, I run serveme.tf/na.serveme.tf, thanks for the shoutout in the guide. Starting to doubt if I should have AWS servers as backup for when all serveme servers are full now :)

Had to ditch the whole fast restart idea, too many different configs leaving settings around after such a restart. mp_highlander in your 6s reservation *brrrrr*. So back to full restarts and fully clean servers for every reservation.
On the bright side, 4 new NA servers by tragicservers.com \o\ /o/
Some new stuff:
- Four new servers for the NA system, all Chicago-based.
- Faster starting of a reservation. Instead of a full server reboot, it will first try to apply the reservation settings, if that fails (bad rcon, timeouts), switch to the old full server reboot. Should mean that your server is ready to go in about 10 seconds normally.
- You can pick ctf_turbine as first map again
- People that forget to end their reservation, will have auto-end forced on for their next reservation
- End of birthday-mode, donators are donators, non-donators are non-donators once again
- Switched hosting provider for the NA system to a more powerful system, thanks to tragicservers, naturally.
- Preparing to add some more servers, Chicago-based for NA, and UK-based for EU system.
It's my birthday this week, to celebrate everyone is a donator until march the 21st. All current donators have received one extra month :)
Auto-ending of reservations is now a checkbox you can tick/untick when making your reservation. Please end your reservation manually when you're done if you untick it, I'd rather not write code to 'punish' people for keeping their reservation open needlessly.
There's no reason to worry about another i49 coverage war clusterfuck. That was the result of 2 overambitious/vindictive people that no longer seem to be an active part of TF2 coverage. VTV is in hibernation or dead and there's no animosity at all. In fact, tf.tv EU is now using VTV's resources in their casts. Relays, live stats, streamer 20 second cheat feed and atmo's on screen graphics.
I think we set the bar pretty high at i49 and I'll gladly be part of any effort to raise it even higher at i52, preferbly with the same international team presence.
FrenchTouchHey Arie!
First, thanks for your work to keep this great website! :)
I would love to be able to play in ctf_ballin_brocolli http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/15867-ctf-ballin-broccoli.
Can you please add it?
Otherwise, the last changelog was interresting and useful.
Added to all servers. :)
AFAIK source server only binds to 1 port for players, so you can't connect to different ones.
- Added a button to reset the "idle reservation timer". Useful for lobbies that take a while to start.
- Automatically end reservations that go from occupied to empty after 30 minutes
nTraumare you kidding me
^_^
Can't wait for the semi-final vod, that was a crazy comeback
hookyCan you put cp_sunshine_rc1a on the servers soon? It's the new map in ESEA this season.
This is a pretty good idea. Good luck with your expansion!
Done!
mjust because im a stupid american im gonna point out that u guys still have the dates in the eu format and that may be a bit confusing for some people
site looks good and should really help some of the newer teams out
Done!
Suffering some DDoSes, luckily nothing very extreme.
ThoxoI'm looking at creating a caster tool to essentially look at stats in real time. Normally, I would use TF2's built in log function over UDP via the logaddress_add command in console, but this would provide real-time data (no delay like STV), which might be frowned upon, and requires RCON access, which is impossible for most casters (especially in upper levels). To counter these problems, I think the log would have to be initiated on a STV relay, but I'm not sure they even have those capabilities.
Does anybody have any idea if the mentioned commands work on an STV relay? I would try myself, but only have access to a local server and that has lead to some strange situations when attempting to figure out where the data is actually coming from.
I built a system for live stats for matches based on logaddress. All EU teams have been very helpful with running the command to enable them, or even giving the rcon so we can do it ourselves.
You rightly say that these stats aren't delayed, so my system automatically delays them 90 seconds so they sync up with STV.
There's even a feed for the streamer that has 70 seconds delay, so that the streamer can catch every uber drop, headshot and backstab.
If I recall correctly, using logaddress on a relay doesn't get you the logs of the match being relayed.
Gratz on the new release TF2Pickup team! It's good for TF2Center to have some competition again and I really like that you're trying to get a higher skill level in your games.
