#85 BULLET in extv mom in TF2 General Discussion
quintoshAvastThis is a online community and once proven to be a hacker that trust can never be regained solely because in any online game where competitive play takes place there is the assumption that the other players don't hack.http://www.esl.eu/eu/rehab/

I think you and I both realize that isnt for players like bullet.

It even states "in example a young player can commit a one-time folly without thinking about the consequences". This is for players with a first time offense or did something unintentionally wrong. Bullet and his fanboys are most definitely not first time offenders and are most definitely not ignorant of the fact they're cheating.

A better example of that would be how we treated insom and Pharaoh when they were VAC banned. Most people gave them the benefit of the doubt and because of the circumstance of their one time offense since both were unrelated to TF2, they got off easy.

Granted, when looking at how we treated phrakture when his cheating came to light and how the community banded together to shit on him, perhaps you can see a bit of a popularity contest influence people's decision.

how many good HL players can handle top 6s play, I wonder? we'd get a lot more off of someone like stabby using spy unlocks than some dude who normally off-classes to him once every twenty matches

No, spy would still be a horrible class to be running fulltime in 6s. But i could definitely see engy/pyro becoming a lot more relevant.

I would be open to trying an open whitelist, it was definitely different and shifted some parts of the meta to new places, but everyone would have to be prepared for a drastic shift in meta if the whitelist suddenly became fully open and it was taken seriously.

Like engis running fulltime pomson and gunslinger, soldiers bombing with beggars, and scouts with baby face/crit-a-cola/bonk.

Those unlocks would change a lot of how medic is played and pushes are handled while also making medic and demo a lot more vulnerable to things they were already vulnerable to.

I think it could work, but it would take some time.

TwistedAvastPeople are probably mad at that thought because its really stupid. And here's why:

1. If they hack, they're probably not very good to begin with.

2. If they hack it doesn't matter if he actually did do something great, he's still a total faggot and all his accomplishments are void in the game he hacks in.

Get over yourself.
It's well known bullet is a massive faggot but having that said, it could, as Sheepy said, be a legit clip still.

Its irrelevant if it is, and should be taken down.

If you've hacked and tried to pass yourself off as legit, you shouldn't be allowed to participate in the community. Simple as that.

This discussion about if the clip is legit or not is completely pointless because it should be removed regardless of authenticity.

TwistedyankeeTwistedWitch hunting more than the CS:GO community before dreamhack winter this year though.
fnatic fanboi detected
Actually I despite fnatic and I'm generally not a fan of CS but I suppose you can't make comparisons to anything without being shitballs mad according to other people.

I'm not even saying he isn't hacking. I'm just saying that even a hacker can supposedly go huge without cheats and apparently this offends people on the internet.

People are probably mad at that thought because its really stupid. And here's why:

He and his friends all share a single brain cell between them and have been revealed multiple times to be hacking. This is a online community and once proven to be a hacker that trust can never be regained solely because in any online game where competitive play takes place there is the assumption that the other players don't hack.

Once you hack you can't regain that trust and it is always safer to assume they are hacking, because we can never know for sure due to the myriad of ways he can/will hack.

Besides this clown has been proven to hack like 20 different times, why even bother caring if its legit or not at this point because he clearly doesn't care if he hacks.

#8 does anyone here play ns2 in Other Games
nickplusMR_SLINPlayed it, realized that the comp community is even smaller than that of TF2, and then quit. I have friends who play who say that in order to scrim, you need to play on 150+ ping against teams around the world because it's so hard to find another team on your continent.
maybe you should try actually talking to multiple people from the community instead of being a needy bitch about it

Its not like in tf2 you can just find scrims out of nowhere, you need depth and need to know people in the community. I have friends that say comp tf2 doesn't exist, but it does.

People like you that spread incorrect information about video games are the reasons they have small communities in the first place.

You need to calm the fuck down

I know for a fact bullet is obviously not hacking and can pull of these plays on a consistent basis and is better than every invite demo.

He pinkie promised me he is.

ShooshSo you complain about TF2 being dead then when someone tries to get into competitive you laugh at hi and turn him away. Even if it is a troll or hes bad its the premise that matters. All you had to do was recommend him to TF2Center first or something. Gj guys, Gj.

You should come join us in newbie mixes.

phraxDoesn't ugc 6s have an almost open whitelist? why don't we ask them how their 6s meta runs

Its the same meta but with a twist that involves sandbaggers shitting on UGC players.

Euro ruleset is a fantastic because I want to do other things than play a match for an hour and a half but then lose a close games by 1 round with 5 mins left in a half because of the dumb 5 round limit.

Aint nobody got time for that.

MonkeySuitMasterKuni* (presumably) Fixing long-standing graphical and physics glitches
Is it possible that fixing physics glitches could include making pyro airblast reasonable? (not stop strafes, not work on the pyro's back or from 10 miles away)

It is possible. I can only hope for that day so I can bathe in pyro main tears.

#108 dave, take it easy on dem' pubbers in Off Topic

stop. stopstopstopppppppppp

I'd rather this game die competitively than devolve into 12 year olds that get upset when people use mechanics of the game to their advantage.

If you think players that are bad enough to not understand that there are ways to counter things like spawn camping are going to look at getting into this game competitively, you're lying to yourself.

im pretty sure i didnt know that you could clear stickies with hitscan at one point
im pretty sure i didnt think of using bonk to get out of spawn at one point
im pretty sure ive gotten spawn camped but didnt want to go medic to help my teammates before
im pretty sure i did not realize you could switch spawns in 2fort at one point
i might have even gotten upset about getting spawn camped (if i wasnt oblivious and actually noticed i was dying the second i walked outside spawn) at one point

i still looked at competitive later. if we shit on pubbers who don't have the same knowledge of tf2 that you do, they probably won't look at competitive later when they are better because they look at us as elitists, .

sure, the admin of the server probably knew these mechanics but i can understand having rules against spawn camping so that newer players who do not know how to deal with 8 stickies on a spawn door can still have fun. and if people ask you to stop spawn camping even after you tell them how to clear stickies, why not? you could just leave the server and join another that isnt as strict with the rules if you're intent on spawn camping but there are probably other ways for you to have fun in this game too.

So instead of letting the players deal with the problem so that they can learn about the mechanics of the game like good game design allows, we just ban players from every attempting to force newer players to learn the game.

Yeah that sounds like a really fun and exciting way to play that will surely produce players that aren't brain dead or coddled brats.

Fuck me, why am I still responding to this shit. I'm out. I got finals.
