#4 About cl_interp and hit registeration in TF2 General Discussion

hitscan: cl_interp .033
Projectile: cl_interp .0152
Medic: same as Projectile
sniper: .0314159265359 (edited in the 0 before 3)

Also note that the lower the interp is, the quicker you will see projectiles. That is a crude way of saying it, but useful, as you may wish to play with 0 interp on scout, for instance, in order to dodge better (maybe).

For what it's worth, the second book was the best book. Since this is the 2nd movie, maybe it won't be dumb like the first one...

#79 KNHUD / BXHUD in Customization

Does anyone have an update version of KNhud so that you can use that new option to see the Player-model on the HUD? I would very much appreciate that.

#5 Two Citys Day 2 in TF2 General Discussion

Also, if they found a way to balance that shield (a tall order sure) it could be really cool. Say a medigun that activates either a shield on 75% charge or a smaller duration uber at 100%. Maybe that's a terrible idea, just popped it off my the top of my head. The point is, I don't think that shield would be terrible for comp, if it meant you could protect more of your team at once, but were vulnerable to flank and couldn't have a team-mate push ahead of you, that could be a cool mechanic for teams to play with...

#274 Mix^ in TF2 General Discussion

There is a lot of noise in this thread, some of it makes sense, some of it sounds like a hobo banging on a trash can. Both sides have some fair points, but wow, both sides have some awful points too.

There is a fair amount of truth behind what Platinum is saying. Of course, there is a lot of good reason behind what proponents of leaving are saying too. I think the only misstep here is that teams should never forget that in a few months time it will be the community they turn to and plea for cash to get them to LAN. That should always be on the mind of players when they are looking for incentive to try. I don't know mixups financial situation, but it always amazes me how the community comes together so generously to fund team after team for LAN after LAN. A team that pays 380 to play in a league has every right to play how they want, but I think the community has earned every right to voice how they feel about it.

#5 tf.tv league? in Q/A Help

The problem is it takes a whole lot of infrastructure, dedication, and time to run a successful league. It's easy for us all to see TFTV as this awesome community hub and think "that's the best option, make it happen, Enigma," but he couldn't possibly accomplish it on top of everything TFTV already does. It would mean other people would need to step up and put in serious hours of work (a common bane to the TF community) . . . and who knows if a tftv league is something Enigma even wants.

I still don't understand what happened with the "horror" thing. Is that someone's alias? I'm confused.

should nuke the blink pages... thread was going places and the community was showing some nice solidarity until them, making every argument before and after linked to an unfortunate anti-Semitic rant. Shouldn't let 8 pages of good material marred by 2 pages of ridiculousness.

I have never heard of him, but I thought he did a pretty great job.

I remember hearing him do a HL cast, and thought he had a great voice for casting. Thought he did an excellent job tonight along with Marxist.
