everyone wants what they can't get, if you have previously shown you are interested than she'll have logged this information, now its your turn to play hard to get. If she is at all interested in you she will start to reach out to you and wonder why you aren't fawning over her. If she doesn't, then oh well, they're are plenty of chicks our there. Better not to have overdone yourself and have her peg you as just another bro she could get if she wanted.
I just reinstalled QL after not playing it for a year or so. I never had a nice competitive config for it and I heard there was some thing to help with sensitivity being the same as in TF2 or something? I'm not sure, but as I don't know much about tweaking quake, any knowledge/links/advice on the subject would be great.

While that makes more logical sense, it is not what I heard. I remember thinking how foolish Floor was for not selling. But who knows what hashed up version I got through the rumormil. I think flame told me. Maybe he was cycling a new protien shake that week and mixed the story.

This was before they made matchmaking.
As for why they didn't make their own competitive version of matchmaking I can't say. Perhaps the urge to has passed, they feel lobby does it well enough on its own, or simply cant be arsed to spend the reasources to make it work (espescially when lobby has a solid footing for the most part).
The biggest shame is thinking how large compeititve might grow if a hub to its game-modes were readily accessible through the in-game menu.

I liked it it, the frags weren't draw dropping but they worked well enough in the vid. The whole thing had a crisp srping morning chill feel to it. Just a nice atmosphere all around. The only suggestion I have is that with chill slower tempo music I would have liked lower in-game volume, adds to the armosphere in my opinion.

What was comically a dick move has now been comically overblown. It reads out on the forum like some big scandal and really it was just a snowballing of poorly made decisions by many groups of people. There are four things we need to keep in mind. I'll list them in order of importance.
1) The charity event is a fantastic thing with a chance to help kids in need (which is great enough) but also a chance to gain exposure for our game. It must not be diminished in any way.
2) My name is still invite blue and not pink, this is probably really embarrassing for someone somewhere.
3) All casts are free exposure for our game. Those who care about the game, players/casters should never strive to give anything but 110% in order to make us all look good. Esports become a joke when nerds start yelling at eachother over the internet. Esports also become a joke when it loses its competitive tension. A casted game should never suffer either.
4) Really, pink looks good on me, I have the light eyes for it.
I don't think anyone is dumb enough to take out what happened on kids who need charity help. We as a community can at least assume we aren't that depraved.
I don't see the charity as an FT thing, it's a seanbud thing, and there should be no reason to take anything out on him and his charity.

Lower divisions lend to easier competition and grandiose plays that seem awesome in the kill feed but are pretty uninteresting otherwise. I thought the commft top10's were well made but I never cared to watch any of them.
The old push ones were great. Big names, big momemnts, big stakes. Invite only, only invite. Do it.
