I bought scorn, I have been waiting a few years on this one, I knew in the back of my head it was gunna be good. Dug around for reviews, it’s been compared to a tanky (mostly due to movement speed and how punishing combat is) version of early resident evil games. About 5 hours long if you know what you are doing, but the save system is brutal and can leave you redoing shit constantly. For me, considering the atmosphere of the game, the details alone, it’s worth it. I expect to find myself digesting the game itself, what it has visually alone, whether I like it or not.
Also I did reach out about an idea of Zeno Clash getting remade through Source 2 under Ace Studios. That might happen. A lot of resources from that game could be easily remade or reused with better texture subs
Personally I want Atomic Heart to be fucking amazing, I will prioritize this game’s original dub just like I would for metro exodus. If the “remaster of current audio” included better voice acting / sound design (the sound gets fucked on 5+ sound systems!”) the would be better in that way
Honestly, do you prefer quality games focused on single player experiences? Over the last 6 years I’ve had a few games that felt amazing provided what they offered as a single player experience. That game was Scorn. A prior game, something that wasn’t graphically intensive was Dark Woods! The game itself was rather short despite its many endings. I was looking at scorn, they do try to provide a solid quality experience that felt like a old school Resident Evil game. But despite going back and re-doing entire chapters after failing major puzzles, the game itself did feel really short. That game itself focused on visual shit more then anything.

I made a website that tracks player stats across multiple matches. The match log collection is manual, but I'll do my best to keep it updated. Right now it has data from the first two weeks of the season, but I'll update week 3 after tonight's matches. Also it helps me if people combine logs for matches and give them a nice name on logs.tf like "RGL Main W3B" or something similar. Let me know if you spot any problems, and enjoy.
One minor note - The DTM doesn't factor in the time you were on the class, but rather the entire match, so if you play heavy for like 30 seconds, that's why the numbers would look weird. Should be mostly accurate for scout/soldier/demo/med, but will be less accurate the more people offclass

The bots are honestly taking a toll despite the attempts to fix what was already a shit ton of sloppy fuck ups pushing this out. I know a Eric had his hands on some updates previous to Halloween, but honestly it shows when someone who isn’t seasoned working on this game does anything “major”.
Edit: and I am being critical, and I have 0 experience with anything like this, but I do hope that contractor, especially if they continue to work beyond whatever they was set time wise / flat rate per update, whatever it is, learn from their mistakes. If this wasn’t entirely the contractors fault, if valve even had a single employee who has worked on this game during its prime, this shit does in fact look extremely bad.
This was really good. A lot of the snaps are just insane.
So many pre existing issues for what is potentially the only decent update each year… they went from going dead silent on TFC to just quiet quitting their own fuckin job on a autopilot major title
