Newbie mixes is the single best thing to happen to me in competitive tf2. Thank you so much for the work you've done and the time you've devoted towards the team drives and the mixes each Friday, it's given this gamer lots of great experiences and fun times.

There are two main NA TF2 leagues: UGC, and ESEA. ESEA is a paid league, and only has 6s. UGC is a free league, and has divisions for both 6s and highlander.

If you are new to competitive TF2 and want to find a team to play spy for, you should try to find a UGC Steel highlander team to join.

This forum isn't a good place to find highlander teams, as it's mostly focused on ESEA and 6s.

I'm looking to play soldier with a motivated team, ideally playoffs level but the team and mumble environment is more important. If I don't end up starting for a team, I'm open to subbing for a good team :)

I played with Thor last season, and he's one of my favorite teammates I've had in TF2 so far.

He's dedicated, talented, and very open to feedback- it's great to know you can give a teammate criticism and they will take it to heart and work on issues, rather than just feeling bad or disagreeing. Thor does that. Really cool guy in mumble too.

Smile and be actively friendly to strangers: like security guards, people working at checkout, bus drivers, somebody who holds the door for you. Beyond just a "thanks" to be polite. Mean it and actively make the effort and it will feel good
