Just remove it from your launch options and start the game.
It only needs to be in launch options for the very first time that it launches the game, after that the game will use that directx mode until it has been told to use something else.
Any -dxlevel parameter can cause the issues you're describing, not just dxlevel 81

MGE Arenas you can't live without

obsidiianI'm kinda curious as to what special things you need to do in order to make a map ready for mge. If it's almost all controlled by the plugin, I could probably hop into hammer sometime and make a new mge map. I've always thought some of the arenas could use fine tuning, and I think it would be kinda nice to have multiple of the more popular arenas (endif, ammomod MGE, spire, etc.) If anybody can fill me in on this I would appreciate it.
Pretty much.
You create an entry within mgemod_spawns.cfg for the map, create 'arenas' within that, and designate spawn coordinates.
