HOWEVER... I haven't had any of these freezes today or yesterday. I haven't changed ANYTHING since my last comment on this post. I'm just really confused.
CaptainZidgelBooopI know testing the plugin and deciding whether or not to implement it is another thing, but I think the people who created the plugin should consider a name change. In the past, there has been criticism aimed at the competitive community, more specifically 6's, for promoting elitism. The name kind of adds unnecessary fuel to the fire when people inevitably say how entitled the community must be. "They're so sensitive they have to jump over the developers by creating a special plugin to play the game exactly the way they want to" etc. Same bs lines about elitism happens in the smash community with project m, 4xm, and to some extent ultimate and claims about how it can alienate people in the playerbase.I think promod kind of accidentally became the name used by some of the people running the servers with it/talking in this thread because the dev of it actually just calls the collection of plugins "tf2-comp-fixes" on github.

WARHURYEAHReminder that more people play on vs.Saxton Hale servers than comp tf2 ones.
I feel that we really need to find an agreement to tap in to this market, perhaps put a powerup on mid where one player turns in to Saxton Hale for 60 seconds? I think if we pivot to this direction we could double our playerbase which will surely make Valve take notice for us once and for all and finally release Source 2!

B4nnyIn the same day the TFTV community have advocated to defend serial harassers and implement pro-mod plugins. At a time when we need accessibility more than anything, some people are still seemingly desperate to alienate as many players as possible from the competitive TF2 scene.
I am yet to see statistics / a survey of casual tf2 players that say they are turned off by plugins being enabled on servers that they join and also that this reduction in new players would cause the game to die faster than it's already dying. Honestly it's 100% guesswork by b4nny.
The same arguments against promods were originally made for pro maps as well. It is abundantly clear to everyone in the community that valve doesn't give a shit about the game. Just look how long it took them to even fix the cheat bot issue PARTIALLY. The inlfux of players won't get hurt. It's still possible to play the default versions of maps, and the pro versions are never fundamentally different, just like how these plugins won't make the game fundamentally different.
Also, it's pretty disingenuous to pretend the minority of people who want a certain someone unbanned from RGL are the same people who want to change the medic speed when healing scouts.
saci really like these changes but leave out the resistance thing, you shouldnt change to much at once without everyone getting used to playing like how it used to be in the meantime or you will piss off a lot of medic/scout mains...
i mean sure, if u prefer doing one thing at a time sure but the arguments for trying it are the same with or without scoutspeed medics and it should still be considered now

juniorCollaide removing my hud & configs?loadoutX_cfg gets first called with exec loadout/class, so if you put commands after the exec line, they will override your loadout settings (until you change loadout and it gets called again). That's about the only thing that could cause issues.
A conflict with another script might occur if it uses a same alias name. That's not very likely to happen but here's a list of aliases I used:
loadoutX, loadout=X, loadoutX_class, loadoutX_cfg, loadout_class, old_loadout_class, and l1X to l9X (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
Underline means theres one for each loadout/class.

uninstall my hud and config maybe? never had any issues with them in the past though so I don't see why I would need it
Couldn't find an answer for it in the FAQ, how do you set it up as to execute loadout & class-specific commands and save them in the active loadout?

I mean, I wouldn't oppose this if it wasn't because of the sniper class. U can completely hide the head of the sniper and he can spam full charge bodyshots through his teammates. i guess what im trying to say is, it'd have to exlude the sniper rifle? at least in some cases

Okay so, it seems like the first command has reduced the amount of freezes I get, which is max 2 per 30 minute map now. I tried the other commands as well but they don't seem to affect the freezes at all.
edit: this reduction might just be variance though? i'm not sure.
edit 2: upon closer inspection it seems it is related to either how long the game has been running OR how long my pc has been running. restarting the game and also restarting my pc both seem to help so I'm not sure if it's either or both.
