Here you go.
Thank you, so I just tested that cfg out with the default no hats mod by harbls, and Macassar's Version.
Sheens should work with either one of those with your cfg on any Dx 9 setting.
After that the only things I can think of are
Also leaving "-dxlevel 9x" in your launch options would give you a small boost to your overall framerate and guarantee that you're on the right dxlevel.
-edit-
btw their's several redundancies in your FPS config.
You have your sensitivity set 2 or 3 times, and your fps cap set twice.
asaptf2I use the no hat mod, not sure if thatprevents anything. I dont use and -dxlevel 81 or anything. But I use maxgraphics. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.
Also, I cant see the sheen, nor the eye-effect.
I also use No Hats mod and I do not have this issue (though I use the one that allows me to see a pyros head) and I don't have this issue at all if I'm playing in Dx 9.
-edit-
can you post your cfg and launch options?
quattroThe installer crashes everytime I try to install it:(
I've had this issues, and best answer is to completely delete you HUD folder, and then reinstall with the installer. If you don't delete your original installer it keeps all your previous settings.
mustardoverlordeeeDidn't everyone like the QF at first too lol?
ur just buttblasted lmao because something changed
The same people who liked the qf (div 4 retards and, for some reason, Classic Mixup) are advocating for this nerf. They were wrong there and they are wrong here.
Quick-Fix was perfectly fine from a spectator POV until heavy started getting abused.
mustardoverlordalso some people in this thread are being really shortsighted and selfish because it makes their classes (scout and pocket mainly) much more powerful
meanwhile this update makes 6s and hl fuckin awful
Correction playing 6s and HL as if nothing happened makes them fuckin awful, especially for people that are demo mains.
DuckyI can follow your guys rationale being a promode-like plugin/mod hurting the scene but look at COD4, the mod made the game playable competitively and if we make our amazing (fps improvements, more options, etc.) I cant really see why it's such a bad thing.
r4ptureThe second option is to just man up and deal with it. It sucks? Sure does.Give it time. It's obviously gonna make demos much more underpowered
1st take 1 look at the number of people who play CoD4 promod competitively, and then look at TF2 competitive, we have like 10x their numbers with 6s alone.
2nd You thought demos were underpowered that's possibly the biggest bullshit I've ever heard in TF2.
Other than the over zealous nerf for demos this is probably the best update TF2 has had in quite a long time. It both added a lot of fun to the game BASE Jumper and Taunts included, it nerfed Heavies and Sentries slightly, and it even included some performance upgrades on A LOT of maps.
narfholy shit open finals demos bottom damaging
this is largely because demos are not even really trying to spam anymore which is dumb they still should.
as for the invite scrims that seems about right for what the nerf actually did.
in before scout and sniper nerf... or pyro/engineer buff...
OsirisI don't understand why you would want a plot from the short. What's funny about TF2's "story" is that Valve made the game and the story was a complete afterthought, so they decided to just make it as stupid and incoherent as they possibly could while still offering an explanation for what appears in-game. If you really expect a heart-wrenching drama from a group consisting of an overconfident Boston boy, redneck army man, mentally-ill pyromaniac, perpetually drunk Scottish demolition man, gun loving Russian brute, Texan oil drill engineer, insane German "doctor", creepily prideful Australian mercenary and sneaky French assassin/charmer, you really need to rethink if you're directing your expectations at the correct thing here.
tl;dr Go watch a film instead of playing a cartoonesque FPS for your narrative needs.
If you ask me this sounds like the perfect cast for a great action-thriller movie.
DavyCI think YesIDid is actually forwarding a critique of the modern gold player who percieves his/herself as more than that. He imitates this "persona" in order to, simultaneously, offer a perspective we have yet to grasp. YesIDid's thesis is that of a subversive critical interpretation of the "almost plat" player. It is indicative of a "generation lost," if you will. Quite profound.
dead game
YesIDid wasn't really a gold player, he was backup for the lowest gold team (that lost scrims to steel and maybe even iron teams).
Best ways to deal with depression usually includes, healthy eating habits, light-moderate exercise, spending time in the sun, and spending time with loved ones or pets (like a dog or cat not a fish).
You'd probably enjoy going on a walk with your boyfriend on a sunny day and plan a picnic.
Basically just make plans to go DO stuff outside (or partially outside), with people you love, and don't eat junk food all the time IF you do.
