#4 Tf2 Server frame stuttering in Q/A Help

Alright, I'll do that. Is there by chance anyone documenting how long this glitchy ness takes to set in? I'd like to set the map time as long as possible to prevent people from being in the middle of a duel.

#2 Tf2 Server frame stuttering in Q/A Help

Updating this. I did a test and just did a map change, to Badwater and then back to the MGE map I run full time and it fixed the issue.

Now, is there a way to keep the map going 24/7 or do you guys suggest making it change maps to fix this?

#1 Tf2 Server frame stuttering in Q/A Help

So I've noticed this happening on my GameServer that I bought and every once and awhile I have to restart the server because when you do anything as simple as moving it looks like... I dunno, your tapping the W key and you see a stutter. Resetting the server fixes the problem.

But now its happening on my server I am running locally and I am wanting to resolve this issue.

If you want, you can see for yourself what I mean and connect to 66.55.154.28:27015 and go soldier or something and do a rocket jump.

Thanks!

#5 Testers for a server in TF2 General Discussion

It seems to not allow people to download the map.. but the sv_allowdownload is 1 in my server config.

Fixed that, but it seems to take a while to download, I have a 50mbps download and a ~7mbps upload. Is this considered too low to run a server sufficiently?

For now, since I don't plan on making this public necessarily, if anyone wants to help me test it they can download the map here, add it to their maps then try and join.

Ah, I see.

Interesting, trying to connect to the server using the external IP doesn't seem to work.

In my host it says Public IP is: 74.128.116.60

And I set it for port 27015, but I'm unable to connect to that..

*** Fixed ***

I forgot to allow it through my firewall. Try now.

Was wondering if some people wouldn't mind joining my server sometime and playing to see if I can handle the stress on my internet.

I'm based in Kentucky, US so yeah.

Thanks!

#5 Adding SourceMod ect to local Server in Q/A Help

Update, I now have SM working, but when adding in MGE I get the error "Map not supported MGEMOde disabled"

Haha, I realized of course the mod couldn't load because the map is not supported.. I had it on a regular PL map.

All good now, thanks!

#4 Adding SourceMod ect to local Server in Q/A Help

Alright, so I have the meta list showing no plugin now, like it should.

But now I'm having trouble adding in MGE.

I downloaded the MGEModMaster pack and have copied all the sourcemod files to their appropriate counter-folders in the server folders, but when joining the server, it isn't working. I sit in blackness and also in the prompt window when typing meta list it still says no plugins.

I'm sorry to be a hassle, just kind of new to this and don't see what I am doing wrong. Did I miss a file somewhere?

EDIT

I notice now that SourceMod isn't working right. So I am still trying to fix that, FYI

It looks like the file I downloaded for SourceMod didn't have that, thanks!

#1 Adding SourceMod ect to local Server in Q/A Help

Hello all, I have successfully setup and launched a server I am hosting on another PC at my house (Non lan, it is internet) for some friends but now I am trying to get Sourcemod/MGE enabled on it, but I can't seem to figure out how to install addon's. I have googled it and downloaded the needed files I believe, but it doesn't seem to work.

To test the sourcemod they say to type in "meta list" but both in my cmd prompt window on my server PC and on the console in TF2 on my client both say "Unknown command meta"

Any help would be great, thanks!

#3 Upload On XSplit is capped? in Q/A Help

I see. Okay, well, any good OBS guides I can check out? I looked for one before, from Sky something but the site was down.

Thanks for the help thus far though.

#2 Upload On XSplit is capped? in Q/A Help

Oh? I presume the "Setup Wizard" was testing to see the full potential, since after the setup it will automatically change your bitrate on XSplit to what it came out to.

** Edit **

I just changed the bitrate to 5000 on XSPlit and re-ran and got same results :(
