This tradition is about "Sinterklaas" coming from Spain to give the children presents, with his helpers "zwarte piet", they aren't actually black, they look black because they have been going through the chimney to give the children presents.
Yea, if we told our fucking children, hey thats Sinterklaas and his black slave, yea then its racist, I and many others never even thought about the possibility that "zwarte piet" is actually black. Untill this shit reached other countrys and starting calling "zwarte piet" a black slave nobody was thinking of "zwarte piet" as anything else then "Sinterklaas" helpers.
