yup windows 7 did the job...
edit: wow windows 7 is so much better Kreygasm
DreamboatI had a suggestion, but i forgot what it was.
I guess your computer isnt the only thing with memory problems.
im going to "upgrade" to windows 7, seems like a lot of people have problems with 8 and i didnt like it anyway, so hopefully that fixes it
Would it help if i did a clean reset of my pc?
KrocketKarmaLiterally same exact problem. Tried this and have been fine since
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3hRMahc7v4
tried this didnt help.
epiHere is what I have found from googling:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-winapps/windows-81-memory-leak/ee9dea2f-b839-4637-bb66-c6dbf259a755#LastReply
This guy had pretty much the same problem that you are having. What caused it for him was Avira anti-virus. If that's what you use, disable it and see if your problem disappears. If that turns out to be the case and you need to find an alternative anti-virus, Avast free is pretty good (although I am not a fan of the paid version).
i removed all my anti-virus programs so i dont think thats causing it.
ok that didnt work now i think its Service Host: Local system (network restricted) thats doing it :D anyone know how to fix that?
Tery_New content hype? Blackrock Mountain coming soon.
Finally get to see more dragons.
gotta grind some gold now
i think its antimalware service executable but no idea how to fix that
edit i turned windows defender off and hopefully it will fix the problem
Hello tf.tv once again i have a problem with my pc :D, this time its my memory, it keeps going up and doesn't go down, for example it reaches 5gb and it just stays at 5gb usage even if im idle, and after awhile it will use 100% of my memory and then my pc crashes... I dont know when it goes up, it doesnt matter if i watch streams play games or anything.
pls help :(
windows 8.1
love-Firelooks like during the time the server was down everyone switched to huhy dm and now its the new #1 dmBut you cant snipe there... :(
which is good
I played it yesterday in maincall.tf cup and it was pretty good, sniper sights were so op though because you can hide under some shit and you cant get jumped from anywhere because it just covers you and you can see everywhere from there, but in overall it was pretty good.
the hyperxcloud is amazing, my ears used to get hurt from other headsets but this one is just so compfy and the quality is really good too :)
Ok heres a simple way to follow: first you download the .vtf and .vmt file and put it here:
http://puu.sh/e97gh/57dcdf73eb.png
then you paste the text to here:
http://puu.sh/e97lt/651bac4e80.png
after that you have/make a textfile in your config that has something to do with your tf2 settings and put this in there, if you already have one the command might already be there and you just have to put 1 instead of 0, i had to put the last 2 commands under it.

hope this helps :)
also you need dx9
