Phoenix21so your proposal of practicing with a partner won't change the fact that he has better dm abilities than everyone who decided to sign up for the lower tier instead of the higher.

What I meant by people should practice, is that Timus isn't so much better than everyone else that there's no point in challenging. Could you honestly say Timus has the best dm in EU? I'm not sure you could, maybe though.

If people found a medic they could work well with, practicing to make their game seamless would give them a chance against the current best. I'm sure some prem combo could challenge them. Perhaps they just don't have time, idk.

more like throw away 2 keys.

I know that they're really good, but it's not like they have some godlike super powers. You yourself have 5000 hours, not sure it'd be too hard for you to practice with your partner a lot and get as good as them.

UPDATE

Due to a bunch of people good enough to play high tier entering the low-tier, prizes for all both tiers has been reduced, and only 8 teams will play in the upper-tier.

I didn't want to have to do this, but I've done everything I can to advertise the tournament and this is the only thing I can do without me becoming 32 keys in debt to a bunch of people.

Do you have vsync on, that can cause some i/o lag

No I made sure that I didn't, it was one of the things I tried when I first found out I had this problem. Literally the only solution is fps_max 59

Unfortunately you don't misunderstand. For me at least, fps_max is reset to 300 every time I play a matchmaking game.

RhettroMatchmaking breaks it, and after I play a game of matchmaking it deletes it and it won't work until I restart the game. Is this happening to you or does it happen even if you don't play mm?

Breaks the autoexec, or the command itself?

My mouse has like a full 0.25 seconds of delay if I have the default fps_max 300. Normally I have my autoexec setup for fps_max 59, but since matchmaking came out I can't change it :'(

This basically makes anything but medic unplayable, anyone know a fix?

#2 Matchmakin cfg in Q/A Help

Pretty sure you're gonna have to disable that for now if you wanna play MM. Updates happen so regularly I doubt anyone has made a MM specific config.
