#14 f.lux in TF2 in Q/A Help
GetawhaleDave_also if your eyes are being destroyed by allergies, just take 2 bathroom dixie cups and fill them with water, press them against your eyes, drain the water as you blink (use a separate cup for each eye to prevent contamination). It helps a ton for me.
Or eyedrops

Yup. Whichever you have on hand. I had to do that when I didn't have any left :x

#18 Advice on Headphones $200-$400 in Hardware

imo it's best to just get a dac/amp combo or a dac and amp. You shouldn't ve processing audio inside your pc; too much can go wrong. Plus, you can take it between systems with ease.

#15 Advice on Headphones $200-$400 in Hardware

Don't forget fiio e10. They just changed the dac chip in the e10k so it sounds better. $75 dac and amp. Drivss the 880s easily (250 and 600).

#12 Advice on Headphones $200-$400 in Hardware

DT880 pros/prem
I have the prems and my brother has the pros (both 250ohm)
+very neutral
+good bass (not overemphasized)
+The 880 prems (more comfortable) are $400 but can be seen as low as $250/300
+880 pros (same drivers) are $380 but as low as $200 on sale
+great build quality
+big soundstage
+VERY comfortable

-open back; they leak sound
-power hungry (somewhat)
-slightly more treble; can be sibilant
-not portable; sound leakage and requires an amp

#9 Bootmgr error on startup in Hardware

Honestly, he really has 2 scenarios here:
1. HDD is dead
2. Partition table is fucked
3. OS install was corrupted and the bootmgr went with it (happens)
4. Boot order is screwed up in the BIOS (this has happened to me so many times)

I really hope it's #4. If you're concerned about the drive, I suggest you plug it into another computer and check it out. I doubt your drive is corrupted/damaged, unless you're one of those unfortunate souls who owned one of those seagate 7200.1x drives (I have 2 dead ones):

#4 Bootmgr error on startup in Hardware

You're going to have to find out what your primary drive's name is. Just guess and check if you don't knoe. Because if you sort by default, it'll sort by sata port number (0 1 2 3 etc).

open your bios and make sure your boot drive is set correctly/is listed as your primary drive.

#1 mIRC script for TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

Now that the pug channels are all on one network, I decided to write a simple script for mIRC users to join all the tf2 related channels in irc + auth on different networks, and mask your IP across all networks.

*If you need help with mIRC/don't have mIRC, feel free to message me
*Edit: added IP masking
*Edit: added auth help
*To auth for GeeksIRC: type this in the main geeksirc window: /msg NickServ Help Register
*To auth for GameSurge: https://gamesurge.net/createaccount/

1. ALT+R and paste what's below (NICK = your desired nickname ; PASSWORD = your auth password for that network ; ACCOUNT = your account you're authing with, can be the same as NICK)
2. Hit "OK" and you're set :)

on *:START:{
server irc.geeksirc.net
server -m irc.gamesurge.net -j #tf2scrim
}
on *:connect:{
if ($network == GeeksIRC) { nick NICK | msg NickServ identify ACCOUNT PASSWORD | join #tf2.pug.na | join #tf2mix | join #tf2.pug.nahl | join #tf2.mix.nahl | mode NICK +ix }
if ($network == GameSurge) { nick NICK | msg authserv@services.gamesurge.net auth ACCOUNT PASSWORD | mode NICK +ix }
}
