sigafooLessGhostI had such a memorable time, big thanks to Dave_ for pulling the teeth needed to convince me to play, I'm really glad I did. Just as I'm really glad I even attended in the first place, the venue, the staff, the players and the fucking fantastic people that coordinated everything -- it was just a great experience, though I wish I had taken it upon myself to socialize a little bit more; there we're a few people that I wish I had talking to a little bit more, or chatted to at all, but it was truly a pleasure to meet so many of the enjoyable, brilliant and unique individuals that comprise the tf2 community.
I just had a fucking blast man, no alcohol based social lubricant (necessarily) required to hang with such super gamers. Thank you guys for making that 12 hours so great.
Basically this, I probably should of been more social than I was, though I still met a fair number of people. It was a bunch of fun to just play the game around other people and casting for part of the night was a blast too.
Thanks to everyone who set it up, prior to and during. Hopefully I see most of you guys out at GXL :D
