#5 Alienware m11x insulation question in Hardware

If it serves any purpose, it'd be to cushion the HDD. If something's overheating in your computer, I doubt it'd be the hard drive; you'd notice more read/write errors than anything. You could always check the S.M.A.R.T. data to see the maximum recorded temperature of the drive (drives do overheat, just it's less common).

As far as the other components, I think it's best if you downloaded coretemp and msi afterburner to check your CPU/GPU temps. Most likely if you're having an issue with overheating, it's one of those two components you should watch out for, because generally speaking, hard drives tend not to get that hot.

#29 quantifying 120+hz vs 60hz performance differences in TF2 General Discussion
visitnigAnd if anything it differs so much on a class to class basis, meaning scout/sniper will probably be affected by this the most, then soldiers, demos, and medics.

This is very true; soldier doesn't feel much worse on 60hz than 120.

defyDave_Comparing 120hz to 60hz is like comparing a Porsche 911 to a Honda Civic. The civic is fine as long as you're just doing basic shit (not playing fps). There's no need to do an A/B comparison between the two because it's comparing apples to oranges.
hows the gas mileage on your monitor

Yeah your best bet is the compressed air. Happens to my sensei every now and again. It's worse if your mouse feet are thin.

Just a shameless bump; for whatever reason, this sale is still going on. Puretrak has a really poor habit of never updating their website.
