But seriously, as much as I hate this kid, he does not belong in competitive TF2; he's not old enough and nowhere near mature or good enough. For fuck's sake, he has trouble rocket jumping...lol. After his first pug, he did so poorly that everyone wanted him restricted and he made off with only a 3 week restriction. Within the next day or so, he goes and begs eldritch, who didn't have anything to do with the restriction, to unrestrict him. He then adds up and BEGS to be picked by every captain, saying that he beat an open scout in mge (scout vs. scout) and because of this, he says he's at least open-level by his reasoning.

Following up with Eldritch about this, he said that if he (toaster) ever plays another pug and plays terribly again (to where he fucks up the entire game), he's going to be rerestricted with a minimum length of the 3 weeks he was given prior to this. But at the same time, it doesn't really matter whether he's restricted or not; nobody's going to pick him.

Every comment he's made has contained horrible grammar and spelling. He can't even form complete and coherent sentences, let alone play TF2. But, what gives me some remote amount of pity for this kid (other than that he's really young) is that he doesn't have a grasp on social norms. He was going to be restricted for at LEAST 3 months but he was given 3 weeks instead, in which he was told to come back when he was better. But to him, he felt the need to go behind people's backs. But aside from that, this kid doesn't belong on teamfortress.tv, tf2.pug.na, or tf2mix. If you're about pub-level, why would you play on tf2mix, let alone pug.na?

Toaster, my advice to you is this:
You're nowhere near as good as you think you are. Just give it a rest. Come back to TF2 when you've matured. The reason you're treated so poorly is because you've crashed pugs, gone behind people's backs, and made a complete ass of yourself in IRC, saying things like "one day you'll bow to me". Nobody wants to hear someone talk trash and not be able to back it up.

In short, get the FUCK out

My advice is this: copy your entire tf folder to your custom user folder for steampipe.

Second. REALLY good job on the mod, Cprice. I sat down and played it for a few hours today and I noticed that:

1) The elevator glitch in ultiduo (widening the gap between the lip of the elevator and the upper platform might fix it)
2) On occasion, the countdown on ultiduo for the last 3 seconds goes REALLY fast. Not sure about what can be done for that.
3) On spireking the countdown for HP regen should be different from the 5 seconds to say, maybe 7. Also, if there's a way to set it to count down to 5 seconds after you took damage or 5 seconds after you spawned, instead of a constantly running clock counting down every 5 seconds for regen, that'd be nice. Maybe this could be implemented in different spireking arenas?

Either way, great job.

I'm shocked. I have a laptop similar to yours (Asus G75VX)
i7-3630qm 2.4GHz
GTX 670MX 3GB OC'd +135MHz core +1GHz memory
16GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz
2x 750GB's @ 7200RPM
Win8 64bit
And I have no issues at all maintaining a constant 120fps.

HOWEVER. The ivy bridge cpus will still clock themselves very very low if you don't have the laptop plugged in, regardless of the battery setting and charge level. For example, when my laptop is plugged in, the 3630qm lock itself at 3.2GHz instead of sitting at 1.2GHz the entire time. So, even if it's 100% charged, if it's not plugged in your fps will be shit.

I know it sounds really stupid, but try playing with your laptop plugged IN.

If that doesn't work, try running 3dmark vantage and comparing your scores with other users with similar hardware.
