Thanks everyone here who watched it! We were able to get almost 400 viewers, it was the biggest event ever in our small South American TF2 scene, and this success means a lot for everybody who helped to organize it.

I was getting 1-minute-freezes since I formatted my PC (last tuesday) and I just figured out it was freezing everytime I used my mic in game. The key I used to activate it was alt, so every time I alt+tabed my game it was freezing.

This Sunday we will have the 4th Pubbers vs. Pros in South America. I believe most of you know how it works: a highlander team of 9 pubstars will play against a 6s team of competitive players.

The competitive team will be the (almost) worldwide known Monster just after securing their repeat championship in the Brazilian League of Team Fortress 2.

We will cast it (in portuguese) and I'm inviting all of you to watch it with us. You will have the chance to hear some sexy brazilian accents speaking a language you probably can't understand or you can put some music and just watch the game.

I've played in pubs since may 2009. In 2011 I started to take interest in competitive but it's a bit difficult to start playing pugs in Brazil because we don't have lobbies nor newbie mixes. So I was tired of not getting picked in pugs and started playing NA lobbies with 150 ping, there I got used to rollouts and other basic things.

Then I talked about the difficult I had to join competitive in one of the monthly thread complaining about it that we have in the Brazilian forum and I got the attention of the guy who was organizing a Pubbers vs. Pros and he invited me to play in the event. After the event, he and some other guys started teaching me how to play and now I am one of the guys organizing things for our community in SA.
