I believe that increasing the revenue they generate will help with motivation. It's a lot more work than folks think. Trying to be entertaining for 5 hours straight is tough.
I'm definitely aware of that, I tried my hand at it a few times. It's hard to be entertaining even if you're knowledgeable and having fun. Even 1-2 hours is difficult.
That's why I watch, after all.
