Skins aren't exactly easy to make. And if they're not made well, they look like crap. The people that make them well would probably want SOME sort of compensation. Sure, the community is great, but it's still a lot of time to do 8 7 teams for the invite level. Admittedly, it'd only be sponsored teams in this discussion, but at that point, what difference would it make? You have Vector and AG in invite that would have skins, which leaves six teams vanilla. Leaving the majority of casts without skins and therefore, advertising.
I'd love skins on teams, representing them in unique and vibrant ways. But at this point you might as well have everybody wear the same hat.

The Server Config is to blame; not Killing. Sure, technically that should have been a forfeit win. But due to your lack of punctuality (and consideration) the server wouldn't have allowed it in any way.
Killing did the professional thing and had you reschedule a match when you made an error in procedure.
