At least cp_warmfront isn't around to troll respawns.

Are you using a sound card? Have you tried the mics on different machines to see that the problem isn't in the computer and not the mic?
Make sure if you plan on OCing you get a really nice heatsink.
Bind a key to fake uber and call in chat when you uber. The rest is preference. Most medics play with a high sens but it comes down to what you are comfortable with.
MR_SLINGeknaiireXtine@ #4 any of you guys been using that? I've met those dudes for beers a couple times in Portland. Very cool people. They're working hard on nailing down their neXt model.I think Slin used to use one a bit during and before his guild wars 2 days. When he switched to a snowball, I still didn't notice a difference between the two in sound quality.
yea. when i cast i lean up close but when i'm playing its not much different. however what most people don't notice is that the way i had the modmic configured (for whatever reason) it was super quiet, so i either had to have no boost and yell or boost it up +20 db and have a ton of white noise.
the nice part about the snowball is minimal white noise. the downside of the snowball is lack of desk space and the fact that if you want to lean in close you need a pop filter
I have my boost at +30 and there's no white noise. Mine also has a windscreen which helps with pop.
A really nice addition to these would be if hitting mid does mp_restartround 1 and hurt me -160 while in the same "map". It's a great concept and is very clean.
Unicomp is not that great. Buckling springs are kinda meh. Das Keyboard and Ducky's have the best quality in terms of keyboards. So if you want blues or brows go with them. Otherwise go with Leopold or Ducky for Reds.
I was just thinking the same thing while watching the Vanilla TV cast.
Zowie EC 1 or 2 eVo depending if you palm or claw grip, respectively. I have the EC2 and I really love this mouse.

I kind of think it sounds worse because I hear the keyboard with the snowball but didn't with the modmic.
Other then ebay, where would you buy a CRT?
