#29 Help me choose a keyboard in Hardware

I stopped using geekhack a while ago because of how often they were hacked. www.deskthority.net is where I go to now if I have any questions concerning keyboards.

I've heard a lot of bad things about CM's construction quality (everything but the keys). I think if I didn't want to get a tenkeyless board then I would go back to Das Keyboard. Great brand and the price is reasonable for what you are getting.

#7 Issue with demos in TF2 General Discussion

I just played your demo and it was indeed choppy? Do you have a good computer? Have you tried defragging the game?

#6 Issue with demos in TF2 General Discussion

I think when you're watching a demo you want an cl_interp of 0.100. Have you tried that?

#16 Demo Reviews by cyzer in Mentoring
dabescyzerill get to more later tonight!DrakeMegrimIt would be nice to link the VODs of the review so others can watch.
they're on his twitch http://www.twitch.tv/cyzerr

It's easier to find the reviews by looking in the thread rather then roaming through all of past broadcasts.

#5 Help me choose a keyboard in Hardware

I'm a fan of Leopold if you don't mind spending a little more for better construction quality (over CM Quickfire).

Most typical keys for gaming are MX Brown and MX Red.

#22 Help Get Chess Club to LAN! in TF2 General Discussion
justinKeep the chipin up after LAN. I'd be glad to donate a bit so it's not all out of pocket for you guys, but I won't put my money in until kermit shows up - I've already seen him waste $450 on a plane ticket.

Try defraging the game? That helped me when I had that issue.

#12 Cooler Master QuickFire? in Hardware
flynn__DrakeMegrimCM Quickfire is not the best mechanical but for the price you really can't go wrong. You'll enjoy playing on one substantially more then a dome keyboard.
What would you say is the best keyboard for that price?

I think you misinterpreted what I said. For that price, it's probably the best you're going to find. However, there are other mechanical keyboard with much better constrction (Leopold, Filco, Das Keyboad, and Ducky to name a few).
