ErenJayI don't think offclassing should be dealt with so harshly. As a newbie who has been playing in newbie mixes for a while, I have found that most newbies have a fairly good idea of when offclassing is appropriate.
<snip>
Truth is, for situations like defending last, Offclassing IS the meta
+1
Newbie mixes are for learning the meta AND how to play the core classes. Since the meta includes offclassing, outright banning it would be silly and seem kind of arbitrary.
I have personally not experienced any newbie mixes where people offclassed when they were not supposed to, and there have even been times where a newbie was complimented on his successful offclassing (such as getting a spy pick on the medic before pushing into last).
I agree with OP that situational offclassing has its time and place and its use should be approved by the coach, especially if it is a problem.

But seriously, while I think the idea has potential, it is important to make it more than just a derivative of those plugins that play Unreal sounds and display text in the middle of the screen. There's a fine line between valuable additional info and clutter that makes everything look more "pubby" and unprofessional.
I know that's not necessarily what you are going for, but that's the first thing that came to mind, given the suggestion of showing some text for something like 4k.

This is very cool! I like it a lot and think it is a great addition for spectators.
I've used my cheapo Logitech USB mic for ages, which has always worked pretty well. I've never received any complaints about it.
It looks like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RL84OY/
It's usually about $20, so don't buy it from the random, overpriced third-party seller who happens to be the only one who has it in stock at the moment.
