I tried to enter the queue in dx8 (with and without -dxlevel 81 in my launch options) and it wouldn't let me; I also couldn't do it by launching in dx9 and using mat_dxlevel 81.
Anyone know if the results of stress-test games actually affect rank for people without beta passes? I lost a few because of crashes (not sure what caused them, either).

I'm guessing you can use mat_dxlevel after you start the queue. I was able to change to dxlevel 81 while searching, but I wasn't able to fully connect to the server (not sure if related or not. Might have to use mat_dxlevel once in the server).

Question: assuming the EC2-A permanently keeps the Huano switches, would it still be better than/equal to the G303? Some people say they don't mind the lack of Omrons and/or can't tell the difference, but others say the delay is intolerable (I've only used the DA's Omrons thus far).

I was watching his videos earlier, which swayed me to either the G302/G303 or the EC2-A.
Also, is there a reason people like ambidextrous mice? I use a palm grip and can't imagine a comfortable grip without the ergonomic curve.

I'm not going to take apart a mouse I might not even like and risk voiding a refund. If I buy a G303 and the sensor rattles, I'm returning it immediately.
ScrewballZowie has coating issues.
I had heard the EC2-A actually had good coating, at least compared to some other ZOWIE mice.

literally only difference is the 303 has a way better sensor
I'm wary of sensor rattle in the 303 (although I'd be buying new and locally, so it shouldn't really be an issue). The 302 is also $10 cheaper for me, which, if EC2-As come back with Omrons in a week or two, would be a better price for a backup mouse/less wasted on a gift-card refund.

Not sure if I ever want to use Razer mice again.
Currently deciding between G302, G303, or EC2-A (Huano).
My hand is 7.5 in/17.8 cm long and 3.5 in/8.9 cm wide. I like the feel of the DA but could probably also use smaller/lighter.
I'm worried about the G302/G303's wobble and shape, and the EC2-A's switches. If EC2-A's ever come back with Omrons I'd buy those, but supposedly they're extinct.
Any opinions?

I don't think you fully understand the situation here.
You are claiming that one link works while the other does not, even though they are both the exact same link to the exact same thread--a thread that you clearly also did not read, because it mentions that the particles do not work on sv_pure enabled servers.
Custom particles have nothing to do with sv_cheats and everything to do with sv_pure.
