major PC upgrade thoughts

JRKraftSo I am looking to upgrade most of my PC and I wanted some of your opinions. I calculated it being the same amount to buy this as it would be to build it.
My Current Setup:
cpu: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
RAM: G.Skill x2 1GB
motherboard: ASUS M2A74-AM
gpu: Radeon 5770
souncard: ASUS Xonar
case: Thermaltake Armor 1st Gen(a lot of empty drive bays bringing in dust)
Now all I would have to do is transfer my gpu and soundcard to this new pc. Thoughts???
is there supposed to be an after setup in there somewhere
