I used to have the name Magikarp in 1.6, and I named it as a joke because I'd look useless since I always ran the scout, but I could actually aim with it, so I thought it'd be funny to name myself after a Pokemon that was considered a joke/worthless to everyone at the time.

Whenever I start playing a new game, I usually create a new alias for myself, so at the time when Team Fortress 2 became available, I was usually playing Super Smash Bros. with my high school friends nearly every day, and I took a liking to the name Fox and just stuck with it. I didn't know at the same time, the quake player fojji (also named Fox), was playing Team Fortress 2, and people always mistook me for being 'the good fox', so I added the peace after my name because in the fighting games that I played, I always played on the defensive and took the least aggressive methods to win like running and grappling as soon as I got a life lead. The symbol in my name is a secret though. :3

high tension was a fantastic movie

if you want another weird wtf did i watch movie to watch, watch funky forest: the first contact

since most of those movies are all about gore, you might enjoy watching mirrors (which has one really good gore scene) and maybe the ruins and probably the hostel series

just to tell you, a lot of those movies really suck and are just shock horror, and you'll probably gain absolutely nothing from watching all of them; things like flowers of flesh and blood is just human mutilation, so idk why you're watching some of these things. i watched them because people couldn't stomach them, and had nothing better to do, but i'd recommend against watching most of the trash you're about to experience

my friends and i went on a ghost hunt in some restricted hiking area and after we got out, i saw some people and thought it was some of my friends, so i kept shining my flashlight in their faces

when we got closer i realized it was cops who lived in that residential area (so they were in their undershirts) lol

apparently when we snuck into the hiking area we tripped an alarm so he was waiting for us on the way out

he was threatening us with trespassing charges, but ended up not doing anything

that hike was pretty fun too, we all got lost and someone almost fell off a cliff

same thing happened when my friends and i snuck into some dudes backyard to get to this amazing stargazing spot on some rocks, where you can't hear the city and can only hear crashing waves

cops were waiting for us on the way out :(

melee hitboxes with vast differences in ping is pretty amazing as well

i've tried explaining to people that i can't see when people pull out their melee weapon before they've already hit me once, but i guess the same delay is the same for people that i manage to hit with my melee weapon??

it's really weird in-game hearing the flesh hit from hitting someone with your melee weapon, but not hearing a hitsound which brings a sudden realization that you didn't actually hit them

or swinging at air and hearing a hitsound

i started with roguelikes with the newer incarnations of it

try out dungeons of dredmor/binding of isaac (not sure if this really counts lol) if you haven't already

i heard the pit is really good too

i think most people just play dungeon crawl or nethack though
