#12 Fzero AMA in Off Topic
shifty1gwhat were your parents drugs of choice

My mother was mainly weed. My father and mother got separated at 2, but got remarried at about 6 my age. My father did a lot of weed and EX, while my first step father was drunk all the time and did a shit ton of cocaine.

TicTackHave you ever been the crazy "ex GF" after a break up, if so explain.

Can you explain what you mean? Like was I really wanted them back and tried to do everything? If so, yes and I can explain more

viledescribe your craziest party in college.

Hmm, that's a hard one. It depends on how someone looks at "crazy" I've been blackout drunk and ended up at a small party that I knew no one. I've also been at parties that have 300 plus people. I think the oddest thing that I have done, regarding parties, is being so drunk that you follow someone home that you don't know at all. But those people act like they have known you forever. For example, having a threesome with a dudes g/fs is very odd, a lot different than having a sex with you girls best friend. In the ladder, they decide its ok, but the former waking up is very, very awkward.

#1 Fzero AMA in Off Topic

AMA about life, gaming, whatever, I will be as honest as possible. First post to explain is here, I will also quote it.

Basically an AMA, but not completely centered around TF2 since I stopped really (actively) playing after Crack Clan. More or less it would be an AMA with someone that is turning 30 on the 16th, spent 10+ years in post high secondary education (undergrad, grad school, some Law school, and finishing PhD), has dealt with abuse, parents using drugs, multiple divorce with both parents, spent most of my life in relationships but struggled with cheating on SO, over consumption with alcohol, growing up as part of the "working poor", anything about working in politics or politics in general. I have more, but I figured that would be a start.

Some may ask, why not post this on reddit? First, I don't really like reddit and secondly, I know more people within the TF2 community so I would rather answer questions that *could* help others. There has been a lot of topics about depression and other related topics so I figured it may help. It should be noted that I do not have depression, but my wife has both depression and OCD, so I see it from another POV.

I don't know the best way to handle if there is interest, other than frags I guess, so I guess I will gauge it from that.

Other jobs before politics was IT and multiple generations that worked in restaurants (myself included until about 6 years ago)

It should be noted that I will still answer TF2 related questions too

It's likely that I will not answer any questions until tomorrow. I will also try to say things with complete truth. The only time I will not is if you ask direct names or something that will get me fired. If I feel that is the case, I will say "I'm sorry, but no" Anything about me, or my life, will be completely honest.

It should be noted that I will answer all questions tomorrow that happen tonight, it's just that I have a long day tomorrow so I need some sleep.

#2 wondering if anyone would be interested in this in Off Topic

Ok, it seems that people would be interested. While I do have to work tomorrow, I will make another thread tonight for questions and answer them starting around 1PM EST. I think we have a double header tomorrow, so I may stop answering when that starts but if people are still asking I will keep going Thursday.

#9 Wanna buy 120hz monitor in Hardware

Might as well get the Asus now since it's on sale. I know that you said it was for Christmas but maybe explain to, I assume, parents that they should buy it now to save money.

#13 Another chair thread, but different in Hardware
smakers$100 for a chair that you use for 10 years? I cannot comprehend why people are unwilling to pay decent money for a chair that will dictate their posture for several hours a day over the course of several to many years.

If you spend $1000 on a high-end, extremely comfortable chair that you use for 4 hours a day over the course of 10 years, you are spending less than 7 cents an hour on that chair. It is unlikely that you will find a better money-to-health investment.

TBH, we're barely making ends due right now, since we are basically supporting her father right now. If it was a year ago and didn't have that huge burden, I would spend 300 bucks on a chair. However, I can honestly say that I do not notice a difference between a 300 and 1,000 dollar chair. Maybe some people can, but I cannot.

potFzerostuffI heard from a credible source that you sharted while playing tf2. Confirm/deny?

The credible source was me, so completely confirm. That was a flu shart, not as the title says, "completely shit yourself" Either way, that wasn't nearly as bad as feeling like death for a few days.

#338 sp00ky mge alts unmasked in TF2 General Discussion
PossimpibleFzeroWhile I don't really understand the point of having and playing with an alt for MGE, I really don't understand the point of having FOUR alts.
No, I really don't understand the point, if someone wants to explain, I would be happy to listen.
People who do that already explained why, in this thread and in thread before (eXposed one) and so on. Don't be fucking lazy and expect that people will explain stuff to you specifically - at least read previous pages.

Oh, that ELO farming was real? I thought it was a joke.

Mr_OwlFzeroSophomore year a sick thing happened kinda like that. My girlfriend and I just got home from a party, she lived on the same floor and side as me so she would often just sleep in my room since it was a single. She went to get ready for bed and came running back saying, something like, OMG you have to see this! She open the door to the girls bathroom and the girl that just moved in two days ago was passed out on the floor near the toilet. She shit all over the floor and was lying in vomit. By then the whole floor was up from the girls screaming and had to use the boys bathroom until it was cleaned up. The poor girl moved out two days later.

One person you should always give tons of respect to is the poor cleaning people in dorms, they have such a hard and gross job. Someone should call dirty jobs.

I went to an all-male college and the things i saw in the dorm bathrooms there are truly horrific

Yeah, I think OU's setup for CO-ED dorms were a little odd. They all had community den with 3 wings. The wings were always 2 women and 1 men, or 1 woman and 2 men. Each wing only had 3-4 rooms so you were never more than 10 feet from the opposite sex wing. I think the only reason they did it that way was not have coed bathrooms, but within a couple months people were using both anyways.
