mgibyeah I did harb. my ban was 9 months. then it was extended from ban evasion because 9 months is fucking rediculous
Don't act like you only tried to evade the ban only once. I was around for at least 3 times where Aris or fog had to re-ban you.

Wheel of Time series and see you in a few years
SBARROHOTTOPICwasn't it supposed to be John Hurt?
No
wThe mystery of John Hurt’s Doctor may have finally been revealed.
Ever since the great John Hurt (Alien, Merlin) appeared in the final moments of the Doctor Who season-seven finale, “The Name of the Doctor,” fans have been speculating away as to which version of the Time Lord the actor was playing.
During a visit by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at the Doctor Who studio while on their annual summer tour of Wales, the show’s costume designer Howard Burden described Hurt as a “dark Doctor,” saying:
“There was a gap between Paul McGann playing the Doctor and Christopher Eccleston, when we didn’t see a regeneration, and John Hurt will fit into that gap. He is a past Doctor, not a future Doctor.”
Good to get that bit straight. So does that make Hurt’s Time Lord Doctor 8.5? Or is he actually Nine and Eccleston Ten, with David Tennant now the Eleventh Doctor and Matt Smith Twelve? We don't know the answer to that question yet, but knowing Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat, we're sure it's gonna be a doozie.
In the meanwhile, it definitely explains away why Hurt’s wearing McGann’s Doctor’s waistcoat and Eccleston’s leather jacket, clearing up a few speculations, but also raising more intriguing questions as well.
We don’t know about you, but we’re really looking forward to that Doctor Who 50th-anniversary special, and Nov. 23 cannot come soon enough!
Not sure how many people care, but they are going to announce who will be playing in the 12th doctor on BBC sometime in the next 30 minutes.
hero no ghey secks
Is that saved for after the stream?
I think teams (people) are going to have to accept that funding from the community is going to be more and more difficult. We have been down this road for the past 5-6 seasons, just not to the extent that I48-49 that has tapped the community. While I understand the need for donations to get to Europe and finals, but how long can it last honestly? I think people need to start thinking about fundraising DURING the season, not all at the same time. Even if you look at it from a logical POV, you're helping by not waiting last minute.
BTW- This isn't a direct attack on HRG, it's more of a warning(another, since I made this point a few season ago too) that this cannot keep happening every single season. We, the Tf2 community and invite in general, need to figure out where to go from here in the future. Because asking from donations 3X a year and adding in European trips, ARE NOT Sustainable forever. We have to find out what to do now, instead of always pushing it back until the last minute.
Kinda depends on if you would use it. My grandmother bought me a PSP without me asking for it or needing it and I really never use it. I think I maybe played it about 10 times. The issue with handheld systems is that a lot of people don't have viability to really play it. What I mean by this is take me for example. When I did have to drive to work, can't play then. Work until 6-7ish and come home spend time with wife/animals/house stuff then I would play on the computer and repeat.
Basically, if you don't have periods of time in your day where you're waiting for something in a public place, there isn't a lot of point to owning a handheld system.
kirbyGetting up has been sort of a disaster for me lately, even if I sleep for a long enough time. I'm usually pretty groggy and a hot shower helps a bit. I think if I started eating after waking up and not waiting until I get off work to do it, that might help. Energy drinks are poison.
I honestly feel like my body is still getting used to me working. It's been awhile since I've worked so it would make sense, even if it's been ~3 months.
#19 That gun alarm seems perfect. It's only $10 so I'll probably buy it next pay day if I can remember.
Coffee when you get up?
No one is explaining why it's worth that price though. What does it go that is worth the price tag?
Yes, can we please understand that most of the admins in both channels have a career and that we can't be around 24/7. I'm not saying that we aren't around to help, but it has to be give and take. Report what is happening and we will deal with it. But, it is summer so most people are playing less.
x3Thanks Roody.
Snowball microphone are cool.
I found one @ store for less than 50$ one day.
Just wondering, but why would someone pay 50 bucks for a mic?
Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll try a different mic next time, but Amazon next day shipping was counting down so I just got the same one so I can pug again.
My Zalman clip on died when my new puppy decided to chew on it. I'm on the fence on buying the same one since it picks up so much background noise. I have the TV on in the computer room about 4-5 feet away whenever I am playing. The reason that I have it on is that my wife is generally asleep while I am playing and it helps her to not hear me talking.
So does anyone know of a good mic that doesn't pick up the background noise as much as the Zalman does? It's so bad about that I have it set at about 10 percent and it still picks up everything. BTW, the audio quality is great on it, but I am hoping to find one that is just as good. Just a thought, but would a single-directional be better in my case?
