the301stspartanGeel9omnisorry i meant we don't pay you a fee. we take all the items if that wasn't clearGeel9The service you provide to the community is fucking incredible Geel.WiethoofdThis looks cool! I'll set this up and give it a try.
Does scrap.tf take a cut or it just acts as the trading service, or will there be additional features if you donate?
No fee.
Now I'm confused, do u donate items to the streamers or do you donate items to scrap.tf for the privilege to spam a stream with the fact that u just donated your items to scrap.tf?
you donate to the streamers friend

deft_I saw this on Kurt's stream a couple days ago. Looks awesome, great work! But just a question, would potential big named streamers using this have an option to make the price range of the donation a certain value? You wouldn't want spam of a scrap donation from a shit ton of people
yes, this will be added
how much is needed again
Hello friends.
This is a service we're actively developing. It's essentially a stream tipping service, but for TF2 (and soon CSGO) items. People trade in their items to scrap.tf and an alert pops up on stream with your items and whatever message they entered. We handle all the trading aspects and you don't need to look at your trade offers page like a FUCKING PLEB anymore.
You've probably seen all the ~cool kid tf2 streamers~ using this.
How much experience with PHP and MongoDB do you have?
this one literally looks like someone cut b4nny's face into it
flameValve will definitely capitalize on this. Valve is in a position like Google was with Android phones, where they can afford to sell hardware at a loss, with the intent of making their profits on the software.
Even if Valve sells each of the HTC Vives for a loss, if they can secure themselves the market share, and keep VR software distribution on Steam, it will return profit later.
Who knows though, I'm excited.
You forget that HTC needs to make a profit too.
