I love thanksgiving traditions. You know, the turkey, the mashed potatoes, the lions playing an embarrassing game against an equally bad team and losing, etc.

Alright students I will be grading your essays soon and they will serve as your finals for this semester
i used to play in a pub orange server against a couple of silver/plat/open soldiers when I was a no brain pubber. They liked how i used to jump so they invited me to a couple of tf2c lobbies and I didn't hate playing roamer.
golly this whole week is turning out to be "this team probably doesnt deserve to win but they do"
MR_SLINwhen i reinstalled my computer.
please teach me your ways of reinstalling an entire computer
I used to mostly mess around with bass back in middle school when i had time and got back into it late high school for a while with a better attitude toward playing. No idea on exactly how much I've played but it's been very off and on.
I've always used the same budget learner FirstAct basses ever since I started learning way back when, because I still had it with me after I stopped playing and because I never got the cash to get a new one. It's pretty old and heavily used by now. Part of its face panel has been chipping off ever so slightly and I snapped one of the rubber rings off the E tuning key during tuning once so if I don't play the poor thing enough it'll just tune E to whatever over time. I've wanted to buy myself one of those Hofner violin bodied basses ever since I saw Nick Allbrook use it live and I thought it looked hideous and great at the same time. It's a bummer that they're vintage because they don't come too cheap.
I tend to learn whatever bassline catches my interest, but most of what I play and like involves alt/grunge, slacker rock and psyche rock. This can be anything from Weezer to Tame Impala to occasionally musicians like Mac Demarco, Homeshake, Cosmo Pyke, King Krule etc. etc.
Tholei used to sleep like 14 hours a day and it was really fun but i am an insomniac now so i think i am looking for a new hobby. hmu with suggestions. (i am very poor financially and in talent, so sports/instruments dont seem to be my thing.)
A lot of what makes a fair amount of artistic (talent based) hobbies fun is just doing what you enjoy, it could be art or writing/poetry or whatever, but what matters about it is that you get what you want out of it. You don't particularly need to have any sort of natural talent for it, just a desire to do it and have fun with it. I've been playing bass for a while, and as much as I think I suck with it I still enjoy learning new techniques and playing something new. I don't think you should write yourself off instruments just yet, there might be something that you could enjoy playing, even as a learner. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.
p.s. get rest friend :)
I run long distance often. I'm also a bass player but I blow so that's probably not justified.
TFTV does homework part 1
If anyone knew any good plane / train fares from Boston to Philly this would be a probable cu@ but I don't have money :(
dot_GritomaPoor San Francisco 0-9ers, they didnt deserve this ;_;fuck the giants
I hope Garoppolo's trade (once he starts) puts him in some limelight so he gets traded again to some decent team with a current meh QB (Broncos or something maybe, I know they've been juggling starters for months now) so he doesn't get the role of journeyman/bitch quarterback for his entire career
Who knows, a Garoppolo v. Brady or Garoppolo v. Roethlisberger AFC championship offensive firefight could actually be interesting to watch instead of the usual one-sided stomp
As much as I agree with you, I'd personally like to see Eli Manning keep losing for 10 more seasons, rather than get replaced or retire. Giants W-L gives me hope as both a Pats and Skins fan. Actually, watching all three NY teams lose each season makes me a little happy inside, though to a vastly lesser degree with the Bills. The team and their fans generally seem pretty alright.

Any Mac Demarco album and/or Boy Pablo's Roy Pablo album are all really good for chill. Both Artists focus on mostly slacker rock and their songs have lyrics but I suppose they're worth a mention.
