Does anything really expect anything better from UGC forums* and Axiomatic?
UGC will have to play this one carefully having banned m4risa before based on basically no evidence. I dunno if their current AC team is any better, but they are going to have to play this one out.
I don't have children but work schedule is the main thing stopping it, and my desire to have a social life. I could fit a lot more hours of gaming in if I only worked then played games.
gg
Interesting idea, aside from it being terrible, there isn't anything wrong with it.
I dunno man the more things you try and find you don't have an interest in, the more things you tick off your list as "been there done that" and all of these experiences will point you towards something and make it "worth it". You been in the Boy Scouts? I never tried it, sounds interesting. You played musical instruments? Amazing, I never have tried and I have yet to make the time (or mentally grasp an instrument as I know I'd end up pouring a lot of energy into it, probably something I'll do when I quit comp TF2). You have done a lot of things at such a young age, I'd say you will look back at all of this and be more passionate and able to share your experiences elsewhere.
I tell you one thing though, if you're in school you're probably not working and when you start working you really start to pick up more life experience when you learn new skills and meet new people who have vast knowledge and specific skills and you can pick so much up by just listening. And also with money comes financial freedom meaning if you earn say I dunno, even a basic wage of 200 dollars a week you suddenly have options open up to you - You can move out, go on holiday, save to travel, go places originally out of your spectrum, buy a car and do all sorts of crazy shit (you may be limited to just the one thing you can do but start saving money and in later life you'll find you can do it).
My guess is School life and your general age and lack of freedom restricts you from doing something, I got that feeling certainly though I just fucked around in school and hung with my mates, didn't touch games hardcore until I was in college.
Also meeting the right person (romantically or for friendship) can really impact your motivations in life. One day you could be plodding along wanting to get a basic job to fund your lifestyle of gaming and paying your parents rent - meet a girl who is special and next thing you know, you want to be earning 30k a year to buy a BMW, pay for a mortgage, have kids, get married and all that goes with it.
In time you will get there, in time...

Same thing that happens to every project that is made voluntarily during people's free time - the people doing it couldn't find the time/motivation to do it.
I know where to go for all of my Tagg needs
SoapIts hard to justify investing in TF2 when Arteezy and Sing Sing get more viewers at 2AM on their streams than i52 finals. Same for Summit
It's easy to justify putting so much time and effort into TF2 because it's so fucking fun to play and I have met some of the best people in this game.
I don't care about winning money, prizes or getting viewers, if it really bothers you how small TF2's exposure is, try and do something about it. I hear CanFo telling people about how he has the contacts for Dreamhack for a TF2 event but doesn't know if it's worth it. I see Huhy organising LAN's and making video content. I see people like Dashner, Arie, David and many more improving casts with their amazing technical knowledge and people like Nymthae and Snowie continuing to organise summer i-series. Can't say I seen one of these people complain about TF2's size, rather they just get on with it and make the scene better.
When I started in this scene, England vs Sweden Nations Cup Semi-Final got over 1000 viewers and broke comp TF2 viewership record and this was from SourceTV if my memory serves me correctly. Granted such a game now will probably only get half the viewers but you can see how far this game has come in terms of viewership through a lot of community effort.
Simply put though (not aimed at you Soap) if you care so much about TF2 being taken seriously, especially if you're European then you should have signed up to ESL and ESEA Europe and endured the shit seasons and kept playing so they may eventually improve it. That's the least you could have done, now we have virtually zero chance, not that I am that bothered since I quit both leagues after one season as they were both just not fun and that is more important to me than money, sponsors and viewers.

Gonna be a great atmosphere. Just curious to where the VTV stage will be.
Obviously: Hang out with people, friends/family - invite them to dinner, to the pub or to go see a movie or something.
Volunteer - find something that semi-interests you and do it, meet new people and have a laugh as well as helping a good cause (doesn't have to be charity work, so many organisations exist that need volunteers).
Get a new hobby - join a sports team, club of some kind, you can join all sorts of clubs or wild hobbies - I tried dancing a couple of times, went poorly. My ex-girlfriend was is part of a local theatre group, she went there couple times a month and dragged me to performances. I used to play Cricket in the summer, played a few matches a month if it didn't rain - those sorts of things.
Gym is a good suggestion, or some sort of exercise routine but I find Gym membership actually encourages you to get off your backside and do something.
Or learn to drive or play an instrument or something different...
Or you could masturbate...like a lot.
Waiting for i52 before posting.
