#13 Medic LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Took me a while to think of exactly what I need to say...However I think I have found the right words to use...

Stop using the goddamn quick fix.

Really though, she is an amazing person with such a positive/fun attitude and I love every minute I spend with her in mumble, for that reason alone I would pick her up but add her dedication to your team and her willingness to become a better player you can't go amiss.

#1 Your most special/memorable TF2 moments? in TF2 General Discussion

In my time playing TF2, I had some really "special" moments where the joy of winning is particularly memorable, I am sure almost everyone here has the same feeling in this game. I wanted to know some other people's most special/memorable TF2 moments. Might not even be about winning, might just be having a huge play or just sharing a fun moment with friends.

For me though, this week my team managed to win a Prem Playoff in a really close 3 map game against Last Man Standing in ETF2L, we got promoted to Premiership in season 16. It was special for me as this team has been together for over a year and we did it with a lot of the same people we've had over time. It is extra special because we had missed 3 or 4 great opportunities to get promoted in the past by losing / choking / playing poorly so to win in Golden Cap has gone down as my favourite moment playing this game to date, even though we're gonna likely get wrecked in Prem, but it was a great feeling.

Before that there was beating a Division 2 team when my team was in Division 5 and playing Highlander with uBs, so many great times achieved at every level of TF2.

What are yours?

#42 i46 documentary in TF2 General Discussion

I once wrote an article that got published in Gamer's Yearbook, CanFo named it "TF2 - An underdog story" - seemed appropriate for our small scene that many people dismiss yet we still continue to thrive as a community, fund teams to multinational LANs.

#195 What's your job, TF.TV? in Off Topic
MapleHildrethI doubt the authencity of this claim of what you do, as your master in political science will have taught you how to sugar coat everything.
I don't know if you're being serious, but in America at least, landing jobs as a Congressional staffer is fairly easy if you know the right people.

Of course I wasn't, it was a meticulous joke about politicians and the way they operate in order to gain power and remain popular. I don't doubt this dude is involved with the Canadian House of Commons, I met people in this game doing a lot more incredible things.

I work in Customer Service for a Credit Union, we do loans at low interest rates. Judging by what I have read here I wouldn't lend to half of you. I'm a tight and bitter man.

x3Pizzax3i4nI work for the house of commons in Canada.

Yeahhhhh boy, politics.

Wow. Are you the guy that brings chocolate milk and water to the ministers? I heard some students do that as a summer job sometimes.

No, my job is working in the riding for a member of the parliament.

Im a part of the political staff, and write speeches, do scheduling, etc.

I have a masters in political science and im done with school since 2 years.

#57 First experience of TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

I saw my brother playing this cool looking cartoon shooter game, coming from a world of Call of Duty, Battlefield and Medal of Honour it was a different style and appealing. Watched him play for ages, then next day played on the same map. It was called ctf_sunsettown and I played for 3 hours, it was incredibly fun on this map doing Capture the Flag, infiltrating their base and grabbing the intel and capturing it, like a hero. Mostly played Scout and Spy that day, started playing other maps after that great cos I couldn't find sunsettown again. Tried to find the map a few weeks later, found a map named cp_lazytown and got addicted to Demoman spamming and Engineer turtling, joined a community and met amazing people there I still play with after 5 years, like polk.

I wouldn't still play if it wasn't for the community and people I have met in this game.
