I'll echo what I said in the ETF2L thread a few days ago in regards to the upcoming season

If any teams are planning to make roster changes/merge rosters for next season, please add me and let me know of what's happening so that tftv can provide adequate coverage of our teams this upcoming season. I won't bother you very often, only for confirmations on what is happening and for a statement at most.

I'll also post this in the Season 26 thread, but if any teams already have their rosters confirmed, it'd be really helpful to relay that info to me so that our writers can get working on those stories. I have also been recently moved up to assistant editor to help with getting articles published quicker, but I'll still do normal coverage of roster swaps granted that I have the information needed to write an article.

My guess would be that a lot of people's elo and time have been spent on the regular mge server and doesn't carry over to the oihguv sucks server, which gives them no incentive to play on the other server. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong in my assumption of that but I think it's a fair assumption to make

Also I think the fact that it's on a Thursday night and not a Friday night makes things a bit tougher for the players. At least on a Friday night people can use the weekend to recover, while a Thursday game going into the early Friday morning hours is certainly more brutal on people that have work/school that next morning.

Hopefully this series won't go on for 7 hours (or however long it actually went) like last season

what qualifies someone as an "old beta" player?

Probably going to be the 2018 or 2019 one since this year's one is probably too close of a deadline for them

It really depends on the size of your hand and what type of mouse shape you prefer (ergonomic or ambidextrous) since $50 is a really good price to be choosing mice.

you probably should have gotten the fk1 or fk1+ since the fk2 is a much smaller mouse than the deathadder

There's a lot more organization typically required to not just get rolled 5-0 in less than 10 minutes. There's also a lot that typically needs to be put in on the individual's end o improve their individual skills (generally revolving around mastery of movement) and proving that he/she won't just be someone running around mindlessly on the map and spending a lot of their time looking at a respawn timer.

This, along with a specific regime of rules and class restrictions basically make competitive TF2 into a game within a game, and once you start being able to hold your own against others, the charm of the competitive game can really take form.
