The biggest issue that I have on ESEA's end is how some teams vetoed cardinal and still got it as their map. If both teams don't want to play the map then don't force it down their throats.

I think this would alleviate a lot of peoples' frustrations with the map, and again this one is on ESEA. If the maps were known, say 4 or even 5 days before the actual match date, then a lot of teams wouldn't be opposed to learning the map. But since there's this random factor that goes into what map you're playing on a certain match date, there's simply unnecessary stress that's created for the players and team leaders.

along with some pug words, I sometimes integrate twitch emotes into my vocabulary and has led to some awkward moments when a hype play is observed and people around me hear me say POGGERS (or a number of twitch emotes depending on the situation)

turn desktop audio down in OBS
turn game volume up slightly
maybe change the volume in your headphones or change your desktop audio

idk you might have to record some gameplay and listen to it to see how the balance is. I know that I've previously had that problem and that's what I did to make sure my audio levels weren't too unbalanced

Alright, this issue seems to be something that happened with windows since it recently updated on my computer. I know it's not a microphone issue since I've tried another mic and have also gotten input from both of them when I listen to the mic in my headset through the input device properties.

I'm almost at the point where I'm going to try reverting my windows version to what it was pre-update since prior to that it was working just fine. If anybody knows any possible solutions please either post in this thread or add me on steam

Edit: Thank you so much to Kutch (and his friend) for helping with this. If you're having issues like I did, go into your windows settings > privacy > microphone and make sure the slider is turned on. So I recently moved back home from school and as the title suggests, haven't been able to get the mic on my Corsair HS60 headset to pick up any audio. I've checked that the input devices are set correctly but in windows nothing gets picked up. However, I've noticed that audio will actually be picked up when I select "listen to this device" in my mic properties but not any other time. I've also tested this through the USB dongle that came with the headset.

Can anybody help or do I need to just pick up an external mic from the store to use?

I know for sure there are some IM rosters (TF2RJWeekly, It's past my bedtime) with not enough players to play so idk if they're going to be moved out of IM and replaced with teams that have enough players

Once delayed a scrim for about 10 or so minutes disconnecting and reconnecting from the server because the paint that he applied to his hat wasn't showing up in game. The idea has probably been beaten to a pulp at this point, but avoid this guy at all costs.

Thanks for that. Also when I try and adjust my acceleration curve and try to save the profile, I get a message saying "An error occured whilst writing settings.txt" with settings.txt being the accel curve that I'm trying to use. Is there something that I'm doing wrong or did wrong in the installation process, or is the somewhere in the files and I just haven't found them yet?

I guess it's also worth pointing out that the settings file isn't saved in the same location as the physical driver itself (it saved to my documents folder on my hard drive)
