While I can't give specifics of what is being discussed, please know that the TF2PL staff have been having lots of talks about improving the advanced division, and we also have to work within the platform that we've been given through FACEIT.

Also, before you accuse me of anything, this isn't meant to be a plea for people to come back at all. We're not forcing you to play on TF2PL (nobody is). But just know that discussions are being had about these topics and the views of the people that play are being considered as well.

CEVO (to my knowledge) did offer cash prizes, but ESEA offered more cash. As most of you know, money talks, and people tend to go where the money is. People are also naturally resistant to change, especially if there's a long standing history of what people are used to.

I'll agree that the way ESEA is set up (especially this past season in Open) has made things more difficult than usual scheduling wise, but people are going to stick with ESEA unless a clear alternative opens itself up (with TFCL being the most likely candidate). Would it be nice if something emerged that offered a better service than ESEA? Yes, but I wouldn't count on something coming out that would immediately (or even soon) that changes how people play in leagues.

I'm done with medic and want to go back to playing demoman, but am unsure if I even want to play at all. Likely will either sub or roster ride on a friend's team/whatever team needs a gamer in case someone can't show up.

I did play a considerable amount of demo before 2018 when I still went by my previous alias Koncept, but with a bit of practice I think I could play in the mid-high open range, maybe bubble playoff open

watching demos of your play really helped me improve some of my poor positioning as a medic when I was just getting into improving on medic :)

I used the Tt eSports Isurus Pros for a while and I really enjoyed using them. They were $40 so there were obvious compromises but I can't say I regretted buying them after it was time for my old headset to go. Really wish the cable was longer though. Couldn't really move and look for stuff that had fallen on the floor unless I took them out, which was a minor inconvenience. Also it didn't really work that well with an extender, but the one I used was really old so YMMV
