#43 Global Whitelist Meeting #2 in TF2 General Discussion

Really I'm only on the fence about the rescue ranger and loch n load, since I hate playing against and with it. Until some major change comes about for it, these are the only 2 that should be considered since there's nothing else that's necessarily game breaking. Cow mangler obviously has it's ups and downs but it's not a direct upgrade to the default rocket launcher. Same goes with some other questionable additions, like the jarate and natascha possibly

Max_crwMax_MagikarpTHEBILLDOZERMy dad just texted me an essay about how I should be ashamed for not voting and that Texas had a ridiculously small voter turnout and should've been a major player in the election.
Keep in mind Harambe got more write ins than Jill Stein got votes in Texas.
Why didn't you vote? Just wondering, didn't like any of the candidates?
Also votes don't matter in certain states such as Texas and California where Texas has historically been Republican and California has hisotorically been Democratic.

I didn't vote becase my vote wouldn't have changed anything
Penssylvania has been historically Democratic. Not anymore.
People were already keeping an eye on states like Florida and even at the end of the election Pennsylvania. There is no doubt that Texas and California weren't changing which party they were giving their votes to this election

In Texas the Hispanic population is actually projected to pass the white population soon, so Texas isn't going to remain red forever

I didn't, and I wasn't going to waste my vote by going third party insteadDr_HeinzTHEBILLDOZERKeep in mind Harambe got more write ins than Jill Stein got votes in Texas.Source??http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/291759-poll-jill-stein-tied-with-harambe-trailing-deez-nutz-in-texas
I think Alfa had posted it earlier in the thread.
I don't know the hill very well. If they're a satirical news source then that's my bad.

http://www.snopes.com/harambe-15000-votes/

Chances are if you have a joke write-in they'll straight up toss out your ballot, which is why Vermin Supreme didn't get any votes in New Hampshire.

Texas had a much larger voter turnout iirc in this election, some media sources were calling the race so close that Texas seemed to turn into a battleground state. However you still could have voted no problem for all of the other representatives in congress, just unchecking the presidential candidate. I know a number of people that did that since they knew that voting was important, but since they didn't like either candidate, left that part on their ballot unchecked. I believe the Senate race for seats was actually really close this time around, and had the Democrats gotten the majority, we'd most likely have another instance of legislative gridlock in Washington.

I could probably pull up some numbers to prove my point and show how some of those numbers can be influenced and changed to show different outcomes, but I have a lot of schoolwork to get done today and I'm certain that this was covered in my Political Science course that I'm taking this semester. Also there's the voter ID thing that some can complain is restricting people in states that have them, but I personally believe that it's meant for good means, but what's actually happening among those that can't vote due to this "restriction" is not who it was intended to target.

Slice is one of those players that in the right environment can really improve a lot over the course of a season if he forms the right team. This could be a solid team if the right players are playing together

miwoWhat is Trump's plan for controlling costs within these HSAs for uninsured people? The biggest cost control proposed by opponents of the ACA -- exchanging insurance costs over state lines -- would reduce costs negligibly. So what is the plan?

There is a damn good reason why insurance and pharma companies continuously lobby against the public option, medicare, and medicaid. It cuts into profits.

Would those that you're mentioning as "uninsured" be those that are opting out of the program in favor of their own plans that benefit them more? Because I feel like if that's the demographic that can afford their own programs without many financial issues, then is there much of a reason to worry about them, since they are investing in a program that theoretically (or actually idk which tbh) would offer them more?

I understand that through reading the article that you linked that there's a little more than meets the eye when it comes to this kind of business across state lines, but is there a real reason why there are contracts between the doctors and the hospitals that were mentioned? I'm asking because I'm genuinely curious to see if there could be a possible solution that's not happening just because of a few things

fnmCan someone help me update grape's version of m0rehud?

Here is the DL link: https://mega.nz/#!CEVCyTqS!78hRnV3yi0KRn0F9uVVLyCY-NAvRqoKHvFPxy_oWM3E

Essentially the hud doesn't work, and I want the specific crosshairs that he has in there + the actual version of m0rehud.

I believe Hypnotize has already updated it. This thread should lead you to an updated version

eeeScissorseeeBecause people arent experts. Experts were close to unanimously against trump. G2g srySlave-mentality like this is so fucking pathetic. I am not surprised at all considering what else you have been saying. Hopefully one day you decide to actually think for yourself instead of letting "experts" decide what is best for you.I listen to experts when i go to the doctor or get my car fixed but its a bad idea when it comes to the future of my country?

it is only if you're getting your information from one biased source. It's perfectly fine to support one side or another, but taking all of your info from just a right/left source is when problems arise

Also these "experts" could have most likely been talking heads on TV that just flat out opposed him

That combined with a few graphs and an explanation and you've got new propaganda that's going to run against him until people are sick of looking at it on social media

eeeThe economy as a whole has improved and the ACA was definitely a big boost for anyone in true poverty.

Even if he didnt deliver, he campaigned on issues that would help instead of hurt. Wouldnt that make him better than the GOP?

Right, there were a few things that did improve, but do democrats actually focus a lot of their efforts in the inner cities only during election time or year round? It's probably much better than the republicans but Trump laid out a good plan that would bring jobs to these people. It wouldn't be a retail store job that's professional, but Trump's plan was to knock out a lack of jobs and rebuilding some things such as highways, effectively killing 2 birds with one stone.

He also told the people to give him a chance, and as a business person, when you introduce anything new that you claim to be "better" than the standard, a lot of people are going to be skeptic about it. But once you get momentum and get people to understand that this crazy idea might actually work, people are pretty likely to jump onboard. And that's what's at stake for Trump: if he does an awful job, he won't be in office very long. But If he does do a better job, regardless of what people think of him, he can certainly become more favored as a president that gets things done rather than just talking about it and letting it die over time, hoping that people forget about it.

eeeHow have democrats fucked black people?

How does that change the fact that most people see the gop as being bad for minorities? Youre just deflecting to the other party being shit for a racial group instead of defending against the claim that the republicans are WORSE THAN the democrats for blacks. It isnt a situation where both groups are bad so you can go away. One is worse than the other

Wasn't Obama supposed to bring substantial change to inner cities and wasn't that one of his main selling points during his campaign? Now I could be wrong if there's been a substantial improvement in the inner city areas, and it's entirely possible, but I don't recall reading much if any at all about how inner cities have gotten massive improvements
