I remember seeing DavidTheWin streaming with the tftv hud a few days before i58
from a first person perspective, it's not any different than the default tf2 hud, but in reality it's just
brokenna custom spec hud made for this event

saamI would say that TF2 updates recently have been at least as good as CS:GO (not that it's a super high standard). It'd be nice if they just put some money up, at least for production crews and people who actually make the lan happen, if not the prize pool.
I'll take this from a post that I had made earlier
KonceptYou know what would really make this great with help from valve (at least in my opinion)?
50% of all Mann Co store sales will go towards increasing the prize pot of i58Too steep? Let's rethink that number(In my mind,) people would go nuts seeing this sort of involvement from valve. Hell, there could even be a goal (say £5,000 for a start) that would be displayed on the Mann Co store front page.50℅25% of all Mann Co store sales will go towards the i58 prize pot
I'd love to see this happen even for future events (take the hint valve) if financial help is going to even be in the cards in the future.
Honestly fundraising things are things that people go NUTS over. Maybe even adding a perk such as an in game medal that signifies that you helped with the funding of the major would raise a ton of money if not get a lot of attention at least. I know other games would beg for these kinds of things and it would be a fantastic example set by valve, considering that they made tons off of tf2 each day
faultyfiveShow Contentdoes anybody know a working version of broselhud?
assuming you're asking for the old broselhud and not broselhud blue, look in this thread.
Definitely going to be using this for warming up. Great job on it!

Didn't look at the sidebar before reading the thread
Almost got a little hyped for a seagull tf2 stream return
Maybe one day...
ErenJaydidn't there used to be a soldier in invite that played with mouse accel?
I know kaidus played with mouse accel for a long time if not his entire career
But in all honesty the general idea behind having a higher/lower sens is dependent on the class you play sometimes
Soldiers and demos typically have higher sensitivities than scout mains, who use their lower sensitivity to track better (unless you're b4nny who completely breaks this trend). I've also heard things about some medic mains having even higher sensitivities than some projectile classes but in reality you should find something that you can do flicks and aim projectiles at wierd angles to get those legendary frag movie airshots, but also where you're comfortable with being able to aim a weapon like a shotgun or scattergun competently. This may cause you to lower your sens a bit, but developing the muscle memory to be able to hit all of those shots is what you're really looking to do. Some players can play hitscan classes and aim a shotgun well with a higher sensitivity, while others focus on their hitscan aim and base their sensitivity off of that.
TL:DR - find a sensitivity that allows you to both track and flick and stick to it. Whatever you find comfortable is right for you once you start building that muscle memory.

At least they've acknowledged that i58 is coming up
But we wouldn't know unless we tried it, which is arguably the hardest part
EoNBBiA_duchess2 demos can have upwards of 4 traps and can make team pushes way slowerspringrollsi am not convinced that valve cares about 6's until they implement class limits
tbh a class limit of 2 would work perfectly. There is no need for anymore than 2 classes. A class limit of one is way too restrictive, but two is fine and very easy to implement.
2 medics will ruin the uber race
2 snipers can each stare down a sightline in spawn and change class quickly for an early force
2 engies can easily hold badlands if each is placed on top right and top left
2 pyros can deny an uber hard with double the ammo of 1
2 heavies can LG the fuck out of anything in the sky
Then this brings up the question of if we were to go to one class limit: what would be the best team composition (assuming all weapons are properly balanced)? Would it be scout, soldier, pyro, demo, medic, and sniper? Or some other kind of class composition? I remember sideshow had a highlight about what the best composition would be but I'm not sure how it would actually work if people are even open to experimenting

With the exception of medics imo
So I was going to send a trade offer, but something weird happened with the queue and now I'm stuck with the offer pending on the site and the offer in my trade offers as being declined. I have all the required items (2 keys, gift wrap, and item to be signed). Is there any workaround other than just "wait and see if it goes back to normal"?
Edit: everything seems to be working fine now
