There's that Gotham show coming up, but it's on Fox. The show-runner is the dude who did Rome though, so it could be good, even without Batman. I'll take what I can get for now. CW has been killing it with Arrow and looks to do the same with Flash. It's like returning to my childhood watching the Justice League cartoon.

Yeah, same dude, shared universe. Not really a spoiler, but Arrow pops up for a brief moment in the pilot. If you saw the 5 minute trailer for the Flash show, then you pretty much have seen the pilot. The trailer is all from this episode.

If I were to guess I'd say it was never intended to air, based on how quickly it establishes basically everything from the Flash universe. They left out a good deal of character development in order to get him suited up and fighting someone quickly, which is fine in order to get the powers that be to pick up the show.

I'm stoked for it though. I love how they're getting directly into meta-human stuff. Couple really neat (and kind of surprising in one case) references to Flash characters throughout. And that newspaper clipping at the end dropped a pretty big bomb.

A little weirdness but overall just fine. There are translations for all of them, they've just been removing links from this thread as official translations are completed.

My goal is to read the entire Witcher saga and replay both games before #3 comes out. This latest trailer makes it seem worthwhile to know the fiction. Love this series :D

Also just having a backup plan is good. Like if you have a SSD as your OS disk just keep as little as possible on it so if you ever have to blow it away you don't lose anything too valuable.

To be honest if you're mostly playing source engine games like you list then you don't need anything super amazing. I've noticed no meaningful difference in Source Engine games after going from a 560 to a 770. Every other newer game runs better, but for Source engine games like TF2 there's been no noticeable difference for me while playing/streaming.

Just depends if you want to play newer games at the highest settings or not.

I've only recently become less interested in SP games and mostly just because there's so much useless fluff around the actual fun gameplay. I can't start a new game without sitting through 30-60min of cinematics, exposition, and unnecessary (and poorly designed) tutorials. I think a lot of games put too much time and effort into presentation and forget that gameplay matters most.

On the other hand Indy games are more and more often released in barely working condition, rife with bugs and poor attempts at production value. It's like there's no middle ground anymore. I think I need to go back to playing Nintendo games. At least they understand fun.

TF2 becomes really convenient in situations like this because I can just click a couple buttons and within a minute I'm running around shooting dudes having fun.
